Earn a BFA in Design or, through Cornish’s partnership with Vermont College of the Arts, graduate in five years with a Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT).

Build your technical skills while pursuing your interests during your Foundations year. Explore all the visual arts as you create alongside artists and designers. You’ll work across boundaries as you explore diverse creative practices aligned with your liberal arts studies.

Whether analog or digital, you will find tools and inspiration that you haven’t had a chance to explore yet. From individual and shared studio spaces to special labs, Cornish offers all types of artists what they need to explore their craft. Seattle’s strong art, design, and filmmaking communities give students valuable internship opportunities.

Cornish’s Institute of Emergent Technology + Intermedia (iET+I) fosters student research, activities, and projects in emerging technologies. In the tech-meets-arts environment that is Seattle, Cornish students have the opportunity to work on interdisciplinary projects with local and international partners interested in using artists to create new media and the next big thing.
