Cornish also maintains numerous black box venues of varying size, offering a wide range of design opportunities for our student practitioners.

COSTUME DESIGN Learn the history, traditions and wellestablished techniques of costume design and costume craft and then take what you learn to our labs with industrial machines, high-end sergers, and a commercial dye vat.

LIGHTING DESIGN Become proficient in the nuanced art of theatrical lighting; using the lighting cue to establish movement, passage of time, motivation of characters, and a range of emotional states.
