B.O.R.R. Houses a contemporary ruin

what is the meaning of a contemporary ‘ruin’ in the urban context? | The Ruin is the space behind the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum, an inactive rail, actively dividing the communities it built and abandoned |

Spring 2011 | MICA

The House of the Passenger Silently tearing through this physical form

Parts are divided that still seem whole moving faster, on and on. should not, cannot. Pulling itself, thought breaks in search of form lightning breaks through air meant to crash all that falls is the weight of an idea. The flash becomes smoke settling in air.

The House of Perpetuity

There is a crack in the lens that captures our memories nostalgia’s filter sealing itself with the flood it released longing is the initiator time becomes the inefficient device

The House of Boundary

Persistently defining a fragmented past the field stretches vertically through the air connected by fog a void is filled to create more voids or more walls

The House of Shadow

Standing alone, the street complicating to the point of clarity finding the bitter divide called the line Equal yet opposite An empty vessel full of information Giving definition while casting veils Its language is a nothingness ably defining space.

The House of Breaking

I dive, encompassed, hands plunge. Strangers pass in the night. Cold, dry and coarse, collapsing, me or it? My feet escape me, my body remembers its last breath oh, how moments seem insignificant.

07.

Scallywags or a lossy cohabitating zoo

a monument to the cohabitating zoo | it is a study into gain and loss of information within a project that reconsiders the ground as a series of objects, and then considered objects coming out of that ground | blurring the destinction between ground and tower Spring 2015 | G3, group
