@ARILENNOX TREND TO TRY
SUMMERTIME MEANS WE FINALLY GET TO SHOW OFF A LITTLE SKIN,
which makes the all-over glitter trend perfect for the season. As seen on spring/summer ’22 runways at Blumarine, Collina Strada and Osman, the look is utterly ethereal and attentiongrabbing. “Glitter reflects and moves light, bringing immediate attention to wherever it’s applied,” says Toronto-based makeup artist Caroline Levin. If you want to achieve a simple all-over glitter look at home, Levin recommends using a liquid, gel or cream formula infused with glitter. Another great way to get the look is to apply loose glitter on top of a cream or primer, which will help keep the glitter on. The process can get messy, which is why Levin suggests disposable applicators. “A clean, disposable mascara wand is also a great tool to pick up any glitter fallout without destroying the makeup you’re already wearing.” — Lora Grady
