Costa Calida Golf Tours has been arranging golf holidays and discounted green fees since 2009, and we are growing year on year. In 2016 we had the pleasure of providing over 28,000 green fees for golfers of all nationalities on over 30 different courses located in Costa Calida, Southern Costa Blanca and Almeria.

Remember, we also hire clubs, so even if you fancy a ‘last minute round’ and aren’t fully equipped to play, we can get you on the course. Being based close to the action here in Spain, means some of our team are lucky enough to play many of the courses on a regular basis, so they can give accurate, impartial reports on current course conditions – helping you to make the right choices. The varying designs of Valle del Este’s 18 holes create great challenges for players. A 300m long driving range is within metres of the hotel. Plus, there’s a putting green and large approach course.

Valle del Este was designed by José Canales in 2003 to conserve the natural pre-desert environment. Refurbished in January 2014, the hotel is at the heart of the golf course – the tees of holes 1 and 10 and the greens of holes 9 and 18 are very close by. This 19-hole course has generous fairways and greens spectacular in variety and design. For instance, the 7th hole has a square bowling-style green guarded by a symmetrical L-shaped bunker. It’s an impressive end to La Finca’s Amen Corner where vast water hazards flank holes 5 and 6, and five waterfalls cascade into five lakes – all adding to the difficulty but providing spectacular views.

Mar Menor Golf
Mar Menor Golf was designed by David Thomas. Its first nine holes (par 37, 3275 m) need good shots to put the ball in the fairways. The back nine holes (par 35, 2878 m), designed by Jack Nicklaus, have wide fairways and great holes – including ‘Amen Corner’, a spectacular obstacle of a lake surrounding holes 13, 14 and 15. The Strategic bunkers and lakes protect the remaining holes.

Hacienda Las Colinas Riquelme Golf Golf & Country Club
Located between mountains and Sucina (a regional natural park), the course has wider than average fairways with plenty of room across the contoured greens. Putting is complicated by the subtle random contours. Numerous large rugged bunkers cut with jagged edges add further difficulty. Home of the Spanish Professional Competition 2010, this 18-hole par 72 course was designed by Nicklaus.

La Torre Golf
An 18-hole par 68 course by Nicklaus Design with four sets of tees. Over five hectares of elaborate bunkers separate the holes, creating strategic points and giving added value to shots. Dense grass surrounds the bunkers, creating the optimum wind shot effect. Challenging conditions and impeccable playing surfaces make this course ideal for average players and those with a high handicap, yet it preserves the challenge for experienced players who, teeing off from the furthest tee, will have to devise a suitable strategy to cover the fairway with the perfect shot.

This challenging 18-hole, par 72 desertstyle course, combines two unique golfing experiences – a links type course (typical of Scotland) set in an Arizona-style landscape. It’s like a British Open experience but in a Phoenix Open setting. The moulding of the fairways and greens amidst dunes and hills, and surrounded by lakes, make this a unique golfing experience.

El Valle Golf
This 18-hole medium-length par 71 golf course is in a beautiful natural desert valley. Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the course relies on subtle strategic elements to challenge golfers. It requires accuracy over power, favouring the intelligent player who can manage their game. Routed in a ‘core’ format, several holes are grouped together, keeping the surrounding development on the perimeter to create an open, natural experience.

Signature
Designed by Jack Nicklaus, Alhama Signature is a long (6,884 metres) par 72 golf course with five large lakes, original circular tees, wide fairways and fast greens. The 116 varied-formed, strategicallyplanned bunkers demand careful consideration for every shot, making this test of golf a tough but enjoyable sporting adventure for all players.

Golf Course
Villamartin Golf Course is one of the oldest courses on the Costa Blanca. The 18 holes challenge every level of golfer and will require you to use practically all the clubs in your bag. This challenging 18-hole, par 72 course makes the most of the natural terrain. The signature hole has to be the 18th, par 4 of 356 metres, played from an elevated tee that looks over the island green.

Airport & golf course transfers From arrival to departure … and all golfing trips in-between Using our private transfer company is a great alternative to car hire. We cater for arrivals into (and departures from) Alicante and Murcia airports. Your driver will meet you and drive you to your chosen location – be it golf resort, hotel, apartment or private address. And, during your stay, we can transfer you to each golf course that you’re playing. We’ll collect you at the arranged time, drive you to the course, and then after play (and maybe a couple of drinks on the terrace) we’ll collect and drop you back.
Reliable and fast, we can transfer 4–24 people by minibus and 25–55 by coach. Plus, our vehicles are fitted with secure trailers, so there’s plenty of room for your clubs too. In the studio

In the studio, you will be given a demonstration of how the equipment works and an explanation of how the lesson will be conducted. You’ll then hit balls and be given feedback and analysis of your swing. The information will be provided by the PGA Professional using the state-ofthe-art equipment and data provided.
We offer an easy option payment scheme to become a member of the academy.
In addition, your swing will be captured on video and analysed, so you can see and understand what you need to do to improve. Practice movements and swing drills will be given in order to develop your swing. After your lesson, you will receive an email where you can watch the lesson with the Professional’s commentary and helpful tips and guidelines for practice.
