Renewal of Dalhem Area, Helsingborg, Sweden This is as a result of providing a large scale of green space, well planed but the lack of outdoor public space that can enhance social contact. The main intention of the project is to create a public space, which can function all year around and provide opportunities for all social classes. In this context, the design injects new functions which can be used and reused in a sustainable way, with the possibility of functional reconversion, connected by a variety of open public space.
Smart Living Communities, Angelholm, Sweden This project encourages an economy based on local resources management and innovation in decision making at a reduced scale, thus providing limited growth and encouraging biodiversity. The actions that make this possible are based on rethinking land management in order to provide means of preserving limited resources and education for future generations to keep a real bound between human and natural ecosystems.

The Urban Oasis, WuWei, China The projects aim is to provide a strategy based design focused on water smart solutions for Wuwei City’s future development. Starting from the city’s scale the project is working with a vision to provide the framework in which the future site can develop a growing economy while providing local identity and a lively urban ecosystem. The concept of oasis started up as a main idea for the design, shaped to capture the existing neighborhood qualities. Creating a mix-use space in which a local economy can develop around urban shortcuts (mix-street) and urban oasis (small scale green pockets) is using microclimate solutions to facilitate seasonal diversity. The water design is focusing on reusing waste water at a neighborhood scale, converting waste into local economy and energy but also recreating the natural oasis.

Self-sufficient Settlement | concept for city expansion in Mekong Delta, Viet Nam The proposed design it is suitable for the whole range of tropical climates. It could be implemented either as edge cities development or remote villages due to fact that they work self-sufficient entities. Demands by local dwellers are full filled by a module of the pattern at the smallest scale and zooming out the system is based on the same structure. This sustainable development for the city’s edge we as urban designers are providing self sufficient communities for the future evolution of the cultural landscape. Apart from this the proposed pattern is a well known design by nature which can be stretched without any given borders keeping the traditions in the same time that its providing enough space for people and natural habitat to coexist together.
