COTESI is a name everyone in Agriculture recognizes, manufacturing premium products and permanently developing new solutions to meet the constant challenges that modern baling technology poses every day. Since its foundation in 1943, all of us in the Cotesi Group have this in our minds and with the constant support of machine manufacturers and above all, our customers, we create new products every season. The UK and Irish Markets will have these new options available during the 2017 season starting with their presentation in the LAMMA show. Every year we see new players coming to this highly technical market, we even see some claiming that all the other companies did not develop the right products for 30 years, as if anyone could believe that. All we can say about us is that COTESI is the only Crop Packaging Manufacturer with production units in Europe, USA and Brazil, providing customized solutions to our customers. We have the unique possibility to test the same batch of product with our own teams, on the different scenarios where modern baling takes place, adjust them to every individual need, rather than having the same very standard product with different labels, like we see with other companies. COTESI, a Manufacturer every Farmer recognizes, we have Baler Twine and Netwrap in our DNA, we believe know-how is part of a manufacturer culture and simply can’t be exported to other countries like we see these days. We add to our package our BALPAQ Stretch Film, manufactured by the best producers in Europe and the USA.

New options of Stretch Film We already have the longest spools on the market, with our 13 kg 72XL and PLATINUM XL spools. COTESI is highly involved with customers dealing with Biomass, where we achieve the highest bale pressures on horizontal balers. You will see spools as heavy as 27 kg Will these be seen on agricultural balers in the years to come? Is this the Future?

What we have learned in 2016, comparing COTESI Twines with 2 competitors:
Twines like Fine 22300, Hay 10000, Medium 12000 and Big Bale 8600 will be offered as in the last seasons, with the same pack sizes.
• COTESI Big Bale 7200 Twin Pack : -Competitor A offers a pack 20% shorter, for the same strength as COTESI. -Competitor B offers a twine with 14% less knot strength compared with COTESI.
Main focus is as usual on the High Performance range, where we offer : • Big Bale 7200 twin pack and single 13 kg spool Big Bale 72XL We recommend it for Silage, Hay or Straw, whenever baling pressure is not too high. It is ideal as well for baling Miscanthus. • Platinum twin pack and single 13 kg spool Platinum XL Ideal for High Density bales of Straw, fully designed for knot strength.
• COTESI Platinum Twin Pack : -Competitor A offers a pack 16% shorter and a twine with 5% less knot strength. -Competitor B offers a pack 14% shorter and a twine with 10% less knot strength. • We have also tested twines presented on a 9600 ft pack. Since the strength is the same as COTESI BB 8600, we do not include this twine on a High Performance range.
In 2017 we are introducing Big Bale, a 6500 ft twin pack, to fill a gap between BB 7200 and Platinum. COTESI Big Bale is 15% stronger than BB 7200 but not as much as Platinum. The following table shows what you can expect when you buy any of these products

NETWRAP
THE 2017 RANGE COTESI Netwrap is produced using the latest technology and know-how. 50 chains acting together, designed to spread the net through the whole surface of the bale. Between each chain, you will find 1 inch spaces, allowing our nets to spread and cover up to 1-2 inches over the edge of the bale. We design our nets to prevent them being trapped under the side of the bale, especially in freezing conditions. 2 inch maximum over the edge is our target. Netwrap is a very sensitive product that requires a careful adjustment on the baler systems, nothing that an experienced operator can’t ensure during his baling routine. Correct Net Tension ensures full spread and prevents net wrapping on feeding rollers and/or bad cutting.
What we have learned in 2016: We see nets not performing, not covering the surface of the bales as advertised. And sold at much higher prices.
This is why we say we can save You up to 20% on your netwrap. To those who did not use our products in 2016, we hope to be Your Preferred Partner in 2017.
In 2017, we introduce a stronger Net, NYTRO, more suitable for faster and higher pressures and on Straw baling. It will be sold in 2 options, 2600 and 3600 meter rolls.
MAXICOVER is also an option, sold on 3000 and 3600 meter rolls, ideal for silage and hay.
STRETCH FILM THE 2017 RANGE
BALPAQ, the COTESI Group Brand. A 5 Layer Blown Film for high speed wrapping. UV Stabilized, on a plastic core and with a pre-stretch capability of up to 70%. Will be available in Black, Green and White color with the following specs: • 750 mm x 25 microns x 1500 m • 750 mm x 22 microns x 1650 m • 500 mm x 25 microns x 1800 m
Baler Twine Spools with 27 kg Is this the future of Agricultural Balers? Being by far the biggest manufacturer of Baler Twine in the world, COTESI is always looking for new challenges. These twines are the strongest and the spools the biggest we’ve ever produced. In this particular case, bales of Straw and Alfalfa are re-baled on horizontal balers, with a very low level of moisture, causing the crop to “spring” much more than in agricultural baling.
