Maintenance Important features • Acrylic is resistant to acids and alkalines; however avoid contact of your product with organic substances, like paint removers, acetone and other solvents. • Keep lit cigarettes away from your product. • Do not remove the protective film prior to finishing all installation work in your bathroom, in order to keep the product fully protected.

Cleaning of the product For all products: • Immediately after each use, clean your product with a bath cleaner or a lime solvent, a soft cloth and warm water. Otherwise, soap, dirt or lime can form a thin layer on the acrylics and make cleaning more difficult. • Do not use hydrochloric acid, abrasive powder detergents, soft soap or hard scouring sponge pads to clean your product.

For whirlpool bathtubs, shower systems and compact systems: • All chrome parts of the products can be de-mounted. It is recommended that you de-mount these parts at least once a month to prevent corrosion. In case the product contacts with hard water, the parts should be cleaned using lime removers. You will find further information about this subject under the heading “Maintenance of Chrome Parts”.

Disinfection of whirlpool bathtubs • It is recommended that you disinfect your whirlpool bathtub at least once a month. • The Duo Maxi hydromassage system includes an Automatic Disinfection Program for the bathtubs. • For bathtubs with other systems, cleaning should be done as follows: -Fill the bathtub with water (the water level should be approx. 3 cm above the jets). -Pour a sufficient amount of disinfectant in the bathtub. Avoid contact of the skin with disinfectant. -Run the system for 3 minutes in order the disinfectant to be penetrated to the entire system. -Stop the system and wait 10 minutes. -Run the system again for 3 minutes. -Stop the system again and wait a further 10 minutes. -Finally, run the system again for 3 minutes. -Drain the water from the bathtub and refill with clean water. -Run the system for 2-3 minutes with clean water, then drain again.

Maintenance of chrome parts • The chrome parts of whirlpool bathtubs, shower systems and compact systems way display lime residue build-up after frequent contact with lime (hard) water. • The chrome parts should be de-mounted according to the instructions and should regularly be cleaned using a residue dissolving material.
