COVID-19:
Photos in this book reflect typical activities at College of the Rockies. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, activities on our campuses were anything but typical for a large part of 2020 and 2021. While we missed seeing the smiling faces of our students, we are committed to adhering to all orders declared by the Provincial Health Officer. We’re hopeful for better days in 2022, but no matter what comes, our commitment to providing you with a quality learning experience with personalized attention will not waver. Regular monitoring of future orders and public health guidelines will continue to be a part of our routine operations and we will update our plans, protocols, and processes as needed to reflect the fluid nature of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I chose the College because it was in a location that suited my needs and was more affordable than university. I soon realized that the instructors were amazing and the program itself was very comprehensive. - Tara Pfaff, Early Childhood Education
The Environmental Studies certificate program at the College is amazing! I was able to go straight from the program to working in the field as an Environmental Technician. Having the ability to transfer to ULeth or UVIC are also great options. - Arick Keane, Environmental Studies
I found all the teachers to be encouraging, while offering a safe place to learn. I think any female who is considering a career in a non-traditional field like the trades should just go for it. It’s been a very positive experience and a time of growth. - Alysha Buchy, Electrician Foundation program

Sustainability is something that should be important to everyone. To some, sustainability just means being an environmentalist but in reality it is not only about the environment. Sustainability is about making sure that the people, culture, and environment are able to all successfully work with each other to function as a profitable business. - Michael Savarie, Bachelor of Business in Sustainable Business Practices
