Introduction Hello there! My favourite knitwear is something that is simple, yet unconventional. This goes for all kinds of knitwear from garments to accessories. In my Autumn & Winter collection, I wanted to create knitwear that is pleasing to the eye yet unconventional, satisfying the technical knitter’s curiosity with a lasting style. The central inspiration for my Autumn & Winter collection is the concept of a ‘pathway’. The patterns illustrate the form a physical journey can take, or express something more abstract such as your journey though life. A knitting project mirrors the process of your life, in that you start simply with casting on, you then learn to understand what is unfamiliar by knitting a pattern and ultimately, gain the reward of casting off. This year’s collection captures patterns with a certain line or a pathway. This year brings with it great excitement for me, as I am expecting my first child in April. My life will change forever, but I am sure in the best way possible! This collection is a way to reflect my pathway up until this magical turning point. I hope you enjoy knitting these patterns!
