Places we love
Ballina Farmers Market
The perfect Sunday morning for us lately, has been loading our kids and their grandparents into our car and driving down to Ballina Farmers Markets. Located at Commemoration Park with the stunning backdrop of the Ballina bay and Missingham Bridge, these markets offer quality local produce.

The markets focus on bringing sustainable and locally grown produce to the local community, while supporting our region's growers and producers. Fresh produce we sourced included: microgreens, salad mixes, potatoes, Stanthorpe apples, bananas, pumpkin, avocados, shallots and oyster mushrooms. Along with honey, eggs, cheeses, organic artisan bread, pastries, flowers and a variety of nut products, with many more options available. We have provided a stall holders list and their offerings to the right.
The best way to enjoy your day out is to bring along a picnic rug and set up a spot along the river. The area is filled with families and friends enjoying time together in such a beautiful location. You can also enjoy a locally roasted coffee with some breakfast or brunch from a variety of food stalls, including German bratwurst, cheeses, dips, doughnuts, bliss balls, vegan slices, dumplings and gyozas.
The markets are open every Sunday morning between 7am and 11am. There are seating areas and toilets available. For more information, visit: www.ballinafarmersmarket.com.au
