Shawnigan Lake pup Chester

Sometimes the right pup comes along for us, and sometimes the right family comes along for a pup. When both come together, magic happens!

Chester – part corgi, part jindo, a Korean hunting dog –was rescued from South Korea, and made his way to his new Vancouver Island home via a 16 1/2-hour flight.

Resembling a fox, the nine-yearold bundle of love enjoys walks by the beach (but not the water), chasing pine cones and treats of yummy candied salmon.
