ROXY is currently our longest resident. She came to us on January 30, 2016, after wandering up hungry on a nice lady’s porch one cold day. She appeared to have escaped a rough situation, as her ears & tail had frostbite, and every rib was showing. Despite her hard times, she trusts humans & loves to snuggle. She’s a very sweet girl. She loves going for a ride & never meets a stranger. She spent a couple of nights in a foster home before she came to us, and they said she cuddled on the couch like it was the first soft place she had slept in a long time. She is not good with cats & very picky about other dogs, so we’re having trouble finding the right home. She’s protective & loyal of her human friends when it comes to other dogs & prefers the attention for herself. Roxy is a staff favorite, and we know she’ll make a family very happy.
