Jesus gave his life on the cross for two reasons. One was to pardon and remove sin from any person’s life. The other reason was to pour out his spirit upon mankind for their joy and life. Here are the things that rob people of peace and joy in this life. Sin in a life carries unpleasant and heavy hearts. All of these things bring sadness, heartache and sleep that does not rest. People try alcohol, drugs and several other things to get rid of the past. The real answer is the Spirit of Jesus. Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted, (adults as well as children who have been treated to the extent that they have bad dreams and sad days), to bring deliverance to the captives (people who are addicted to drugs, alcohol, tobacco). He came to heal people of sickness, no matter what disease, this includes pain and migraine headaches. And to liberate people who have had experiences that cause scars in their heart. I saw God deliver a teenager who had been suicidal for about seven years because her drunken Dad took her out in the cornfield and tried to rape her. She was 12 years old at the time. This experience has happened to many children, who carry the scar and a broken heart through life. Jesus came to stop these things in your life and other things that I have not mentioned. Jesus is the answer to our lives so that we can have life, a wonderful joyful life. Many people say that these miracles do not happen in this day but after forty-seven years of pastoring and seeing these things take place I must disagree with many and say that there is a God who still cares about your life and is ready to deliver you and give you a joy that is beyond words. You can experience a salvation of your soul that can cause you to be clothed in pure white on Judgment Day.
