Last year saw a cautious return to rallying, firstly through Temporary Campsites then eventually to full blown rallies with raffles, coffee mornings and social gatherings. I hope this year will allow even more normality, including a return to our National Rally. There is a large amount of useful information contained within these pages so please take the time to read it. Information of places to travel to with the full listing of Groups’ Rallies, CLs and Night Stops and recommended commercial sites. There is also information about the 2022 National Rally at Stafford Showground where we will be celebrating our 60th anniversary two years, on having been prevented the last two years by Covid. There is a saying a person is a friend you have yet to meet and Casual Campsites are another means of meeting new friends both in the UK and abroad. The Haven offer has been negotiated again and this is good value so please use it but don’t abuse it. With lists of approved traders and other companies many of whom offer discount to members, articles of interest to motorcaravanners, and our insignia pages there is plenty to read, as well as looking forward. It is a handy size to fit in your glove compartment and so full of information that it will prove a useful addition to your unit. As we look back on 2021 and remember the joy of being able to meet up again, I would like you to pause for a moment and remember the friendship we shared with those members we have lost; those who were always the “best of friends”. Finally, I would like to thank all members for their support and I look forward to meeting many of you in 2022. Wishing you all safe and happy travelling and rallying in good company.
