The new “Near me” Campsite Search area enables registered cardholders to find the nearest campsite whenever they want, at home or while on holiday. They have decided not to use Apps, instead we have implemented the “Near me” function which provides up-to-date information on the closest campsites 4. If a CCI gets lost or stolen, the card can be protected by blocking it via the site. 5. Registered CCI-holders will receive a reminder one month before their card expires. So they have time to contact their club and get a new card.

For all questions or problems concerning the CCI, there is also a helpdesk in the three F.I.C.C. languages (English, French and German). Anyone who cannot find the answer to their question in the “Frequently Asked Questions” is welcome to contact the CCI team via the website and will receive an answer within 48 hours.

These requirements also apply to assistance dogs.

It is advised that you check the rules of the country you’re travelling to for any additional restrictions or requirements before you travel.

Travelling from Great Britain to N. Ireland

If you have a pet passport issued in Northern Ireland, contact your vet for advice before travelling.

You can also read about changes to pet travel on the NIDirect website.

Arriving in an EU country or N. Ireland

You’ll need to go through a travellers point of entry when you arrive in an EU country or Northern Ireland.

You may need to show your pet’s animal health certificate along with proof of their: • microchip • rabies vaccination • tapeworm treatment (if required)

Repeat trips to an EU country or N. Ireland

Your pet will need a new animal health certificate for each trip to an EU country or Northern Ireland.

Your dog will need tapeworm treatment for each trip if you’re travelling directly to Finland, Ireland, Malta, Northern Ireland or Norway. >>

How to get an animal health certificate

You do not need an animal health certificate if you have a pet passport issued in an EU country or Northern Ireland.
