Take A Selfie

A wedding wouldn't be complete without a selfie uploaded to Instagram so encourage guests to gather round with a Table Selfie Booth from Estrel Wedding & Event Hire based in Tiverton, Devon. They make a great centrepiece and couples can hire multiple ones to place on each table and even the bar! They're a great talking point to get guests who maybe don't know each other mingling and capturing happy memories of the special day.

Gemma Halliwell is the managing director of the venue styling company West Country Wedding Planner. She tells us, “We recently created this blush and hessian set-up at Rockbeare Manor and this fun, colourful festival-inspired look at Humber Barn, both located in Devon.”

ANIMAL INSTINCT

This styled shoot shows how to bring your furry friends into your special day! It was devised and organised by Debbie Eden at www.floralities.co.uk (who also created the tablescapes.) It took place at the new wedding venue located in Bickleigh, Devon, www.valleysidebarn.co.uk and was expertly photographed by www. suzannemcfadzean.co.uk. The chargers, votives, glassware, cutlery and cake stand all came from www.uniquedesignsbytina.com while the freeze-dried preserved flowers were provided by www.flowerpreservation.co.uk.

Jackie Spencer is the talent behind My Special Day Wedding Planning based in Plymouth. She tells us, “I’m seeing a trend for decorative backdrops at weddings this year, they look great in the photographs!” www.facebook.com/ Myspecialdayweddingplanning

The model’s dress and cape were from www.daysofgracevintage.com while the make-up and nail artist was www.facebook.com/SparklewithAlibeauty. @ louisemischievousmole, made the brownies using Belgian chocolate, honey from her own bees and fruit from her orchard. The authentic French macarons were handmade by @sabinemacarons using eggs from her flock of hens while the calligraphy was expertly written by @odetabcalligraphy who works from her home in Dartmoor to bring stylish name cards, menus and an assortment of event decor to a bespoke table. The beautiful floral painting from @gillianmburbidge who captures floral designs with her unique style provided the final finishing touch.

The pair of alpacas wearing bow ties and flower crowns were arranged through https://littleorchardalpacas.co.uk – a small family business bringing joy with their flock of gentle smiling alpacas. The dog groomers at www.facebook.com/ meadowmuttsgrooming who provide grooming for treasured pets at weddings took care of the curly-haired poodle with flowers in her hair!
