Tucked away amongst Nottinghamshire’s beautiful countryside with views overlooking Sherwood Forest, Warren Farmhouse is a rustic and luxurious property.

Located on Warren Farm, the marquee venue hosts celebrant-led blessings with 150 people on the lawns with the Grade II listed farmhouse as a backdrop, under the ancient oak tree in the paddock or by the pond. The in-house celebrant creates bespoke and meaningful weddings that will create memories to treasure for a lifetime.

Laid-back celebrations with 150 loved ones occur inside the traditional exposed pole tent marquee, which is located in an exclusive and secluded paddock with plenty of space for festival-style activities. Guests will love the giant fire pit, hay bale seating area, oversized wooden games and the double rope swing hanging from the ancient oak tree.

There’s even a bouncy castle that’s sturdy enough for adults to enjoy! An invaluable and complimentary planning service is provided to all couples as is on-the-day coordination to ensure everything run smoothly. Couples are supported throughout their planning journey as much or as little as required, and the team are on hand to make several recommendations from trusted suppliers. That said, they don’t prescribe as couples can pick whoever they like to bring their dream wedding to life! Included in the hire price is a stocked and serviced bar, which features the venue’s very own IPA on tap called Tractor Oil.

The Pumping House

Located on a six-acre site in the heart of Sherwood Forest, The Pumping House is a beautiful Grade II listed venue that brings an industrial vibe to a countryside location. The red brick building still features the original and distinctive chimney that can be seen by approaching visitors.

The venue’s interior is a work of bespoke craftsmanship with grand turnof-the-century elements blended with industrial-chic flair. The Ollerton Room has beautiful parquet flooring and original-paned windows that supply plenty of natural lighting for ceremonies with up to 100 people. If couples want a more extensive guest list, The Engine Hall can host up to 160 people and the team can transform the space into an impressive setting for wedding breakfasts too! The stunning arch windows and high- glass ceiling create an illuminating space that’s perfect for events. Over the years, the hardworking staff have experimented with different room layouts. They can offer a wide range of options, from traditional round tables to banquet styles or sweetheart settings. For smaller receptions, the upstairs conservatory bar is perfect for intimate nuptials. Guests can enjoy drinks receptions in the spacious Conservatory Room, which has a beautiful mezzanine view of the Engine Hall. Alternatively, loved ones can head outside onto the lawn to take in the breathtaking surroundings while taking advantage of the rustic outdoor bar. Both areas create a relaxing and friendly atmosphere for loved ones to enjoy.

The Mour Hotel is a four-star venue that offers the perfect setting for special events.

The Wing provides the ideal setting for grand ceremonies with 100 people, wedding breakfasts with 80 and 130 in the evenings. The self-contained space features a contemporary and modern style with a neutral grey colour scheme and exposed metal. The outside terrace is ideal for drink receptions in the summer, with enough room for a marquee.

For more intimate events, the White Lounge can host 30 people for the “I dos” and wedding breakfasts with 20 seated around a large table. With crisp white table linens and neutral décor, this private area provides a great sense of comfort and style. Alternatively, guests can happily spill out into the lobby that’s designed much like a New York attic conversion with high ceilings, exposed girders, oversized sofas and an open fire.

The venue works with brilliant suppliers who can supply the finishing touches to make all weddings special. The companies can be booked directly through the Hotel to save time, or lovebirds can contact the suppliers in person.
