Located on the outskirts of Spalding in Lincolnshire, the Crown Hall Farm is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. The property was originally a working farm but now hosts stunning nuptials in a tranquil setting. The team has more than 20 years of experience in the wedding and event industries. With friendly service, they’ll work with nearlyweds to create dream-worthy events.

As pairs enter Crown Hall Farm through the large gates, they’re embraced with lush greenery, a tree-lined driveway and a calming environment. The grounds designed by Chelsea Flower Show award winner Adam Frost have many beautiful photo opportunities to discover. The large lake creates a picture-perfect backdrop to ceremonies in the characterful boathouse that’s full of character with rustic furniture and a PA system for music. Couples can enjoy drinks receptions at the bar boat, which is central to the grounds and provides a fun wedding feature.

Pairs can exchange vows with 150 loved ones and host receptions with 250 in the large marquee. The space has a porcelain tiled floor, climate control and panoramic windows overlooking the stunning grounds. Outside is ideal for garden games and other entertainment, while the picnic benches create a relaxing space for loved ones to catch up.

The team offer a wide range of catering options and even has a pizza shack with a wood-fired oven – so guests won’t go hungry!

In 2022, the team added accommodation to the farm and a meeting room, which can be used for larger bridal parties to get ready or for the formal meeting with the registrar.

Nestled in the charming village of Hagworthingham, Stockwith Mill is a family-run and exclusive wedding venue surrounded by natural beauty. The 17th-century water-driven mill offers a stunning backdrop to special events thanks to the picturesque surroundings and rustic buildings. The dedicated team will work with couples throughout the planning experience to help reduce extra pressure and ensure events run smoothly. For an idyllic outdoor setting, the Millers Field offers a pretty backdrop to the vows. Nearlyweds can make their way through the freshly cut aisle through the meadow surrounded by wildflowers until they arrive at the wooden pergola. After the “I dos”, drinks receptions occur at the Mill Lawn on the water’s edge.

The Stables offer the perfect location for wedding breakfasts with 48 loved ones. The stunning building has been lovingly restored with exposed wooden beams and a neutral palette to match any colour scheme. The staff can transform the space for evening receptions with long wooden tables and antique reclaimed chapel chairs – there’s enough room for a DJ or band. Or the Millers Fields are perfect for bohemian weddings with 150 guests in a marquee or tipi.

After dancing the night away, guests can stay on-site in Campervans or motor homes. Alternatively, the team can organise bell tents for guests.

The Dower House Hotel

Situated in Lincolnshire, The Dower House Hotel is an elegant Edwardian Hotel that provides the ideal setting for weddings.

The property creates many photographic backdrops thanks to its beautiful features, including red-brick walls, stunning windows and mock Tudor timbers.

Exchange vows outside under the majestic weeping willow at the romantic Folly with 120 people, or in the Oak Room with 80 guests under the starlit ceiling. If couples are saying “I do” in the winter months, the Garden Room can host 30 loved one who will stay warm thanks to the large open fire. For more intimate weddings, the Private Dining Room can accommodate12 people and is full of Edwardian charm.

The staff can transform The Oak Room and The Harden Room to continue the celebrations in the evenings. Or why not opt for the Seasons, which can host 80 guests for receptions? Alternatively, the Orchard Suite can hold up to 120 people for wedding breakfasts and 180 revellers for evening celebrations. The suite features beautiful high ceilings and chandeliers that really adds the wow factor to events.

The enthusiastic and friendly staff are always willing to go that extra mile to make events memorable, and the experienced wedding planner will be on hand to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Couples who book the Elegance or Indulgence Package will receive a complimentary tasting session to help them select a menu for their wedding breakfast as well as an overnight stay in the honeymoon suite on their special day. The Indulgence Package also offers two bedrooms the night before the wedding to allow couples to get ready without rushing.

Stubton Hall

Stubton Hall is an elegant 19th-century country house set within 24 acres of parkland. With commanding views over the Lincolnshire countryside close to the Nottinghamshire border and the historic market town of Newark, what location could be better for special events?

With exclusive use, couples can take over the entire house to celebrate with loved ones in privacy. The venue has many locations perfect for ceremonies: the Bow Room can fit up to 20 people, the Conservatory 50, the Music Room 100 and the Orangery 200. All rooms are easily accessible and air-conditioned. St Martin’s Church is at the centre of the village, steps away from Stubton Hall, and St Peter’s Church in Claypole is just two miles down the road. The churches are available for wedding ceremonies, if pairs are eligible, or for blessings.

The main house can easily accommodate up to 200 people for drinks receptions. The team suggests using the large terrace on the south side of the house overlooking the fountain when the sun’s shining.

The Orangery can seat up to 200 people, while the Music Room or the Conservatory can seat up to 50 for wedding receptions. The staff can also make arrangements for more intimate meals if required.

Whatever the weather, Stubton Hall offers many beautiful places for photo opportunities. Newlyweds don’t need to worry if the sun doesn’t shine because the wedding photos taken inside the house are just as spectacular.

The 25 individually-designed bedrooms mean guests can retreat after dancing the night away.

Located in more than 20 acres of tranquil country grounds with the River Welland as a backdrop, Mr Molecey’s Marvellous Mill is a versatile wedding venue that hosts only a limited number of events annually. The team will work with couples to make their dreams come true as they understand that organising weddings can be overwhelming. They’ll be on hand to help guide pairs through the process from start to finish to ensure everything runs smoothly. Guests will be welcomed by the friendly team, and can enjoy welcome drinks on the main lawn before the main event begins.

The Stables provides the perfect ceremony setting, plus it’s only a short walk along a mint and lavender-bordered path. Alternatively, the magnificent St. Andrew’s church offers a spectacular and historical location for the “I dos” if eligible.

The Owl Islands are perfect for memorable receptions and glamping after booging on the dancefloor. The team occasionally works with Dotties Events and Hire, who can provide marquees if required.

Mainly rented for events and as a film location, the venue has three separate rental opportunities that can be combined to form a 13-bedroom self-catering escape. It’s a superb place to relax and switch off with abundant bridges, rivers and streams.
