What location could be more magical to host woodland weddings than hidden amongst the trees of a private woodland estate within the New Forest National Park? Weddings In The Wood is a fabulously exclusiveuse setting with green lawns and woodland areas to explore.

The licensed woodland bar is where the party begins and ends with a selection of ales, larger and ciders. With a constantly changing wide range of artisan gins and spirits, lovebirds can always sample something different. The venue offers four drink allowances to avoid corkage charges, allowing pairs to supply drinks after the ceremony, wine for the meal and beverages for the speeches.

The Carpenters Barn is an ideal place to tie the knot with 120 people and dance the night away. The large slow-burning wooden stove with a brick chimney is a central feature. Oak beams span the roof, and the interior decoration is neutral to create the perfect canvas to decorate.

Macdonald Elmers Court Hotel

When the sun’s shining, meander up through the hidden pathway to a tranquil woodland location amongst pine trees of the North Woods with more than 120 guests. Or head down into the South Woods, following the path to a circular clearing within a canopy of native trees. Alternatively, walk up a grass-lined aisle to a beautiful open space within the heart of the venue and exchange vows on the lawns with 120 loved ones.

For a more intimate setting where couples can have small legal ceremonies while guests are waiting in the woods or being entertained on the lawns, the Bridal Shepherd Hut can host six people.

The marquee is the perfect location for 125 to150 people for wedding breakfasts. Draped in neutral colours, it allows any theme to make an impact. The team can open the wall panels to let the outside in during the summer, and guests will be immersed in the magical woodland surroundings. The lawns and Fire Circle is another option to host receptions with more than 120 nearest and dearest.

For unpredictable weather, a large indoor space can fit up to 150 guests during the day and more in the evening if needed.

THE TREEHOUSES, BEAULIEU

Nestled in the heart of the woodland, couples can tie the knot among the treetops at the Countryside Education Trust’s magical venue near Beaulieu. A quirky rope bridge connects the two large treehouses, both licensed for ceremonies with exclusively use for the whole day.

THE TRUSTY SERVANT INN, MINSTEAD

The Port House is licensed for civil ceremonies and can be hired for exclusive use for your wedding day. In its flexible, purpose designed space, it is capable of accommodating small numbers for intimate private fine-dining through to weddings for 180 guests.
