Located on the Isle of Wight in the picturesque sailing village of Seaview, The Seaview Hotel is a classic British venue that has expanded and grown over the years.

The charming little village has a nostalgic feel, as only a little has changed since the 50s. The Solent teems with various charming and delightful boats during the summer, including the historic Seaview Mermaids – some are more than 100 years old and still sail today! Out of season, the place has an appealing and unspoiled charm.

The standard of food in the Hotel restaurant is very high, with 2 AA Rosettes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand for a quality, affordable menu. The Aquitania is located at the front of the Hotel and pays homage to The

RMS Aquitania, known as the ship beautiful, and features a camouflage feature wall alongside images of the jetset. It provides the ideal location for ceremonies with 25 people and 28 in the evenings. The intimate restaurant is located at the front of the venue and combines good food with modern service.

For larger weddings, The Bistro can host up to 50 people and showcases the Navy dazzle camouflage used in World War Two, while the sunny streetside terrace is the place to enjoy drinks with loved ones.

The pride of Queen Victoria’s fleet, HMS Warrior, offers an iconic and unforgettable backdrop for wedding celebrations. Launched in 1860, its timber frame tells more than 150 years of history and is awaiting future nearlyweds to become part of its story. Make an entrance by walking down the aisle on the ship’s beautifully restored deck, and say “I do” in Victorian splendour.

Located in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, take guests to the upper deck for their first glass of celebratory drink and capture the moment with spectacular views of Portsmouth’s famous harbour in the background. Ceremonies can take place on the Officers Half Deck with 100 loved ones, and couples can exclusively use the main deck for drink receptions and photographs. The space can then be transformed for wedding breakfasts with 240 people, who will have access to the gun deck and exclusive use of the whole ship from 16.00 for evening receptions with 240 people.

The Captains Cabin is perfect for more intimate and bespoke ceremonies with 20 loved ones. Lovebirds can use the space for receptions, or pairs can pick The Wardroom for a fine dining experience. The venue offers virtual appointments and viewings as well as evening and weekend on-site appointments. The caterers will offer complimentary tastings to allow pairs to try delicious dishes and the team offers discounted accommodation rates with some of their partners in the Portsmouth and the Gosport area.
