CORE CLAPTON

The ground floor reception room hosts ceremonies with 50 loved ones and the main event space can accommodate 200 guests. The reception room is also perfect for your arrival drinks, a children’s area, photobooths or a chill out zone. It’s also a useful area for guests to mix if the main space needs a room change between your ceremony and evening party.
The venue benefits from a private terrace for the warmer months and a large onsite kitchen for all your catering needs.



HACKNEY TOWN HALL

With its symmetrical main frontage built with Portland stone, the borough’s coat of arms is centred proudly above the front balcony. Not forgetting the iconic Town Hall Steps, it’s everyone’s favourite confetti photo spot. The Town Hall Square surrounding the front of the town hall boasts palm trees and well tended gardens. It is a perfect spot to meet for some picturesque photos before you enter the town hall and a welcomed resting spot for many.
Hackney Town Hall offers stunning Art Deco Glamour from the moment you step through the door. You’re welcomed by the grand entrance hall and staircase boasting original 1930’s features. With magnificent sash windows in the assembly hall and the incredible glass roof in the Atria, light floods in abundance creating the perfect backdrop.
Ceremonies of 200 guests take place in the North Atrium. There’s also the Council Chamber with Regal fixed seating for 120 – a grand town hall ceremonial space – and also the Committee Rooms seat 100 guests and boast a classic Art Deco 1930s-vibe. Receptions of up to 250 guests are hosted in the Assembly Rooms, which offers a separate entrance with grand staircase, original 1930s dancefloor and sash windows throughout as well as LED lighting and it includes the lavish Bridgetown bar. The North Atrium accommodates 100 loved ones and boasts a state-of the-art glass roof to create the ambience of dining alfresco whatever the weather.


SHOREDITCH STUDIOS

The warehouse-style venue consists of two interlinked studio spaces as well as a spacious outdoor area, and as one of London’s leading photographic studios for fashion shoots; benefits from crisp white infinity coves which provide a stunning and picture-perfect backdrop for your ceremony and reception.
The interconnected studios offer seamless changeovers throughout your day from your ceremony and cocktail hour to your wedding breakfast and reception party.
Outdoors your guests can make the most of the huge courtyard during the afternoon and early evening and you have the option of dry-hire DIY or bespoke wedding planning and catering packages so there’s something for everyone here.
The largest space here can host 170 guests for your ceremony and up to 200 for your evening celebration with ample space for a dancefloor.

THE NED
020 3828 2000 | www.thened.com Sitting in the heart of the City, surrounded by 17th-century spires and modern glass towers, this Grade I listed hotel has nine restaurants, 250 bedrooms, a range of grooming services and a member’s club. Set in the former Midland Bank building, The Ned was designed by Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens in 1924, whose style blended classical and modern elements.
The faded glamour of a 1930s transatlantic ocean liner was the starting point for the interiors, with designers also trawling through the bank’s archives to find out what the building looked like in its heyday.
Weddings at The Ned take place on the historic sixth floor. Its six rooms and two outdoor terraces with incredible city vistas can host parties of up to 200 people. Couples can hire the whole floor exclusively for groups of 80 guests and more.
Most ceremonies take place in The Saloon, which is dominated by an 18th-century chandelier, an ornate chalk frieze and a restored parquet floor. Receptions are held in The Tapestry Room for large parties of up to 140 loved ones, while more intimate celebrations are suited to the RWB Room.
For weddings upwards of 50 guests, the venue offers free menu tastings and an overnight stay for the newlyweds. Some packages include free use of the Princes Dome on the roof for a delicious breakfast with guests the next day.



MUSEUM OF THE HOME

Built of dark red brick, the Grade-1 listed buildings boast a rustic aesthetic and surround the expansive Kingsland Lawns on three sides. Vine canopied doorsteps and a wooden 20th-century balcony create some romantic spaces next to the gardens. As well as the gallery the museum has a variety of spaces that are adaptable for weddings.
With panoramic views over the Gardens Through Time, the Atrium is bright and open, with a distinctive glass ceiling and red-brick walls. This is the largest indoor space, suited to groups of 100 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast and 150 for the evening celebrations. The Studio seats up to 80 for your nuptials, followed by post-ceremony drinks on the private terrace opening into the gardens and The Georgian Suite is well suited to an intimate celebration of 40 guests with its doors open directly onto the Museum’s expansive lawns.
The Pavilion is a light, flexible and modern space that’s fully accessible from the Museum or the Gardens Through Time. The room includes built-in AV such as speakers and portable microphones, and there’s space for up to 60 guests.
At the heart of the Museum, you’ll find the original almshouse chapel that seats 40 for your ceremony. This is a beautiful, high-ceilinged space complete with wooden pews and pulpit. Choose from the Reading Lounge with a stunning wooden staircase and warm, lounge-like atmosphere, or exit the chapel directly onto the Kingsland Lawns for a post-ceremony drinks reception. Private access for your guests to the Museum’s galleries can be included in the hire of these spaces.
Outdoors, The Gardens Through Time, which display the evolution of private gardens throughout the centuries, offer stunning opportunities for your photos.
