From the gated entrance, guests arriving at Coltsford Mill will be greeted by an elegant venue next to a beautiful waterside lake in 12 acres of countryside. The contemporary classic barn is set within the established gardens with feature ponds, manicured lawns, watermill and two lakes –ample photo opportunities here!

The elegant and stylish barn building has plenty of windows to enable the outside-in feel when hosting an event here. Finished to a high standard with natural colours complementing any theme wedding, couples have the choice of two rooms available for ceremonies and receptions. The Mill Room has the original 17th-century mill workings illuminated behind glass, to create a truly striking backdrop exchanging vows. It’s licensed for up to 95 guests. Alternatively, for larger wedding parties of up to 150 people (200 evening do), the contemporary Watermill Barn is bathed in natural light. What’s more, there’s an all-weather covered patio, with heaters and plenty of tables and chairs for al fresco celebrations.

Ceremonies are held in the Gothic Temple with up to 75 loved ones, a beautiful white pavilion with stunning views over the lake. A marquee is provided for the comfort of your guests during the ceremony and for a drinks reception afterwards.

Receptions at Painshill can take place on the Amphitheatre, an oval lawn near the Temple, or in the Walled Garden, an exclusive enclosed area on the banks of the River Mole. The spaces can hold different sizes and styles of marquee, and, with views over the vineyard and lake the Amphitheatre is a beautiful venue for a wedding breakfast.
