CAPTURING MEMORIES
Discover the talented teams behind the photographs
Aprofessional photographer is an expert in capturing all those special moments throughout the day, some of which you might have missed. You’ll want to look back on the images with pride and treasure them for years to come, so it’s essential to find a supplier you trust to showcase your day in the best possible way. Do your homework and research different photography styles until you find one you love. View websites and social media pages to see photographers' work and read reviews from newlyweds. To ensure the supplier is the perfect fit, schedule a face-to-face meeting or a video call to discuss your day and ensure everyone is on the same page. Don’t be afraid to ask plenty of questions; a good supplier will take the time to answer any concerns and offer advice. This is also the perfect opportunity to ensure your personalities don’t clash as you’ll be spending most of the day with your photographer.

HOWARD TREEBY, OWNER AT ABSOLUTEPHOTOUK
When did the company start? I had a passion already for photography and, in particular, capturing people. After seeing some fantastic photographers posting photos online and on social media of weddings, I decided to give it a try! I’m glad I jumped in and just went for it, as I’ve now been capturing weddings for six years.
What packages do you offer nearlyweds? I have three different packages to suit all budgets and requirements; this includes a half-day session for important moments, a full-day service with a photo book and an extended day option with an engagement shoot, second shooter and prints. All these options come with a USB backup and speedy customer service! How would you explain your photography style? On the day, I like to be aware of the surroundings while reading the crowd – nobody wants a pushy photographer. I know when to blend into the background, the best time to step up and make decisions and how to get the key moments covered. I have a light and airy photography style and emulate the filmic look with my editing.
What is your favourite part of the job? I enjoy meeting new people and love the fact every wedding has a different feel with many characters you meet on the day. My job is more than just pressing a button; it’s everything from organising, planning and getting people confident in front of the lens. It’s a very social job, so I need to interact with guests or otherwise, it will be a very long day! Check out: www.absolutephotouk.com
How long have you been photographing weddings? Officially I have been photographing weddings for 18 months. However, I’ve been in the industry for years as a wedding waitress and working for an events company. I have always loved photography and started my company after the stars aligned in 2021.
Having worked in some fairly high-pressured and toxic work environments, it’s such a breath of fresh air to work in this industry where I can truly be me and show my passion for my work. I’m so grateful for those couples who put their trust in me to do this fantastic thing that I get to call my job.
What packages do you offer nearlyweds? My wedding package is roughly eight hours long, from prep to the first dance/cake cutting if those traditions are included. I offer a pre-shoot to get to know couples and get them comfortable in front of the camera. I deliver my images to a private gallery, and there are options to purchase prints plus bespoke albums straight from the gallery. I can do shorter bespoke packages upon request.
How would you explain your photography style? With muted-champagne tones, I take a relaxed and documentary approach to capture events. I ensure I’m detail orientated enough to deliver romantic, dramatic, cinematic and dreamy images.
What is your favourite part of the job? It’s so amazing to be surrounded by so much love at weddings. I enjoy getting stuck in with prep when I arrive to capture the big and small moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. It’s an honour that people trust me to capture special moments and feelings that can transport you back to those butterflies on the day. Check out: www.roseraephotography.com
TIA CAMPBELL, OWNER AT TIA CAMPBELL PHOTOGRAPHY
How long have you been photographing weddings? I have been photographing weddings for nearly seven years, shooting my first wedding aged 17. It was an accident when I started the company. I got a part-time job in a photography studio and had no idea how much I would love it. After shooting my first wedding, I knew I had to do this for the rest of my life. I started my company the year I went to university, where I gained a first-class degree in photography.
What packages do you offer nearlyweds? Each package contains a free slideshow of the highlights playing to the music from your wedding. My packages are very flexible but range from photographing the ceremony with group and couple portraits outside of the same venue to all-day coverage starting at bridal preparations and ending after the reception is in full swing. Engagement shoots can also be added to any package.
How would you explain your photography style? I focus on capturing the atmosphere at each wedding, taking pictures that ooze happiness. Group and couple portraits are essential, but I love taking candid documentary-style photos without people noticing I’m there to capture the most natural moments.
What is your favourite part of the job? Witnessing the love and joy from so many different people throughout a wedding day is the best part, including proud parents, the excited wedding party and the loved-up couple. I feel fortunate that I get to photograph amazing weddings, something I will never take for granted. Check out: www.tiacampbellphotography.com

ERIC AND NATASHA Eric and Natasha created a modern take on the traditional theme for their wedding day. When it came to picking the perfect setting for their special day, the groom had one request – for the venue to be close to an airfield. The pair has been to Shuttleworth House on a few occasions to watch various air shows, and book the property after discovering they host weddings.

SAM AND MATT Check out Sam and Matt’s English garden-style wedding in Hertfordshire. When it came to creating their dream wedding, the couple wanted to enjoy the run-up to the day as much as possible. The wedding was full of celebrations, and a highlight for the pair was watching loved ones dancing, laughing and hugging all day.
www.jamespolley-photography.co.uk JAMES AND TINA South Farm was the perfect location for James and Tina’s wedding. The pair had originally planned to get married in March 2021, but had to postpone their day due to Covid 19. So it was important to create a day where loved ones had the chance to let their hair down and enjoy themselves.

After getting engaged, the couple's number one goal was to enjoy every second of the planning process and to have a stress-free wedding. DAVID AND MARIE-ANTHEA After postponing the day twice, David and Marie-Anthea were so relieved to finally get married after worrying that the day might not go ahead. A part that stood out the most to David was walking down the aisle with their daughter Emilia and seeing his bride-to-be make her grand entrance.
