Cheshire View is located in Christleton, just four miles from the historical city of Chester. True to its name, this venue offers breathtaking views of the Cheshire countryside, creating the ideal backdrop for those allimportant photos.
The beautiful garden boasts a wooden gazebo, which offers a gorgeous spot for an al fresco ceremony. There’s also a terrace and patio area, ideal for drinks receptions or simply to spread out and mingle. The venue also allows you to benefit from a large, grassed area, the perfect spot for a marquee, tipi, garden games or even a bouncy castle.
THE “I DOS” Here, you can choose from three licensed rooms as well as the garden. For intimate “I dos,” The Lewis Room is a modern and fresh area, which can seat 30 nearest and dearest. The Christleton Room too is ideal for smaller gatherings holding 55, with its conservatory style offering views of the countryside.
Moving up in size the Littleton Room holds 84 loved ones and with lots of windows it offers you the stunning views as the backdrop to your vows. This space can be combined with The Lewis Room to accommodate 100 guests. Finally for the ceremony, there’s the lovely garden where there’s space for 85 guests. The perfect place for a summer wedding it allows you to enjoy those views and makes for stunning pictures.
THE CELEBRATIONS The Littleton Room can also host your reception seating 50. When combined with The Lewis the space becomes large enough for 90 nearest and dearest, a dancefloor and musical entertainment.
Alternatively, you have the option to utilise the Waverton Room, the largest at the venue. It can seat 150 guests for the wedding breakfast, with the option to invite up to 170 for the evening do. It has a large bar and a door that opens onto the outdoor area.
THERE’S MORE! When you book your wedding here, you’ll be offered the opportunity to have a food tasting at an additional cost. Whilst the venue doesn’t have any accommodation, it has partnered with nearby hotels that have been kind enough to provide discount codes for any wedding parties who celebrate at Cheshire View. It does however, offer a room for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready in the morning.

THE PARR’S BANK

In the heart of Warrington Town Centre, sits The Parr’s Bank. This stunning structure was built in 1877 and has retained its original high ceilings and elegant architecture. Conveniently located it can be found opposite the Warrington Bus Station and a two-minute walk from Warrington Central Train Station, so guests won’t have any transport problems when joining you to celebrate.
THE CELEBRATIONS The Bank Manager’s Suite is ideal for an intimate wedding breakfast and can seat 20 nearest and dearest. With dramatic wallpaper and a luxurious open fireplace, it offers a wonderful ambience while you spend time with your loved ones.
For much larger gatherings of up to 250 guests for the wedding breakfast and 300 for the evening bash, The Banking Hall is the place to be. The old teller hall, where business accounts were handled, it has now been converted into a stunning setting with elegant hand-painted silk murals, marble pillars and ceilings adorned with golf leaf.
THERE’S MORE! Once the venue’s hotel is ready, it will be offering on-site accommodation for you, the newlyweds, on your wedding night. The room will also be available for the bride tribe’s morning preparations.

Nestled in 800 acres of idyllic English countryside, the lovingly restored 17th-century stately home and gardens combine the best of Jacobean splendour with an unmistakably contemporary feel, alongside spectacular avant-garde event structures. As you make your way along the treelined avenue, you’re invited to step into another world – your very own country-house escape.
Dorfold Hall boasts 19 acres of gorgeous grounds. On your big day, you’re invited to enjoy the lake, the manicured South Lawns, the hidden gem of The Dell and the Arcadian Walk. You can even take shelter beneath the 1000-year-old chestnut tree or amble along Ladies Walk taking in views of the beautiful Cheshire countryside.
THE “I DOS” The original Coach House has been sympathetically restored with plenty of original features to create a beautiful and versatile ceremony space. Complete with bespoke chandelier, under-floor heating and spiral staircase leading to the mezzanine level, the perfect place for musicians to play and add to the ambience.
Alternatively, for al fresco “I dos,” the gardens can play host to you and 180 of your guests in various locations.
THE CELEBRATIONS As newlyweds, if an outdoor drinks reception is either not practical or preferable, you’ll head into The Tack. Located on the opposite side of the courtyard, this space has enormous sliding doors, allowing for a fabulous view and inviting the outside in. It also boasts an incredible bar. Spread across The Tack and Coach House there’s space for 160 loved ones.
Juxtaposing the historical and the contemporary, L’Ecurie (The Dining Room) offers and atmospheric backdrop for feasting and celebrations. Its main feature is the original brick wall of the former stable yard, which is balanced on the opposite site by a fabulous view of the Hall and clock tower. It can accommodate 180 for the wedding breakfast and evening revelries.

An enchanting castle, steeped in history, Peckforton will delight you and your guests. The exclusive-use venue offers a magical backdrop for the all-important photos, combined with delicious, award-winning food and drink, ensuring your big-day is a true fairy tale.
THE “I DOS” Imagine saying your vows with the sun streaming through stained-glass windows, as a string quartet plays from the Minstrel’s Gallery. The magnificent Great Hall, which can host ceremonies with 165 loved ones also offers a warmly romantic setting in the winter with a glowing fire and candlelight reflecting off the original Minton Hollins tiled floor.
The Drawing Room can also accommodate 165 and is the largest of the Castle’s function rooms. As you enter, your eye is caught by three imposing windows draped with luxurious red velvet curtains, chandeliers and tapestries.
Built in 1848 and set inside the fortified walls of the Castle, the Chapel is the perfect place for a religious blessing or renewal of vows (not available for civil ceremonies) and the local minister will be happy to officiate. There’s space here for 100 loved ones.
For more intimate “I dos,” The Hexagonal Room (80 guests), The Wine Cellar (40 guests), and The Library (30 guests) are also available.
THE CELEBRATIONS For large capacities The Drawing Room (165 guests) and Great Hall (120 guests) are available once more for your reception. For smaller guest lists, The Hexagonal Room can host 80 and among its many striking features is the Tollmache family grace, engraved into the vaulted stone ceiling: “At dinner and supper, morning and night, give thanks unto God for his gifts.”
For the same numbers, The Wine Cellar allows you to absorb the Castle’s history with its one-of-a-kind experience. The captivating greystone walls evoke times long past, enveloping you and your loved ones in an atmosphere of wistful romance.
Finally, The Library is the most intimate of the spaces and can seat 30. The book-lined walls are a key feature adding to its authenticity and ambience.
THERE’S MORE! The venue benefits from an onsite lodge, which is ideal for a night in with nearest and dearest before the big day. Also offered are menu tastings allowing you to try out some mouth-watering dishes, and all packages include use of the bridal suite for the wedding night
