Licensed for ceremonies there’s a variety of standout settings where you can tie the knot including the oh-so romantic Lake Summerhouse by the waterside with up to 120 guests or The Octagon, an octagonal oak gazebo on the lawn in front of the house.

If you’re planning to marry inside, The Old Ballroom seats up to 85, or 120 family and friends when combined with the Tharp Hall. With antique paintings, a grand piano and floor-to-ceiling windows, it oozes elegance and style. Post-vows, make your way to the rose terrace for a relaxed drinks reception and make the most of the award-winning gardens to mix and mingle before heading off for the reception. Set on the banks of the lake, the versatile permanent marquee can host up to 200 people for a sit-down wedding breakfast and 250 for the evening, and caters for more intimate celebrations too. The stunning Gold Room is a jewel in the venue’s crown, complete with an ornate 18-carat gold leaf ceiling and a 50ft-long aisle, perfect for making a grand entrance. A period fireplace and huge stained glass windows add to its charms. There’s an aisle mirror too, providing the perfect backdrop for your ‘I dos’. The Dining Room at Holmewood Hall can seat up to 80 guests for a fine-dining experience. With its own team of in-house chefs, there’s an array of gastronomic dishes to suit all tastes or, for an extra personal touch, you can create your own menu and design bespoke cocktails to match your theme.
