Situated in the heart of Nottinghamshire, Thoresby Park is a stunning barn venue surrounded by nature. The Victorian Riding Hall is the main wedding space, which features gorgeous high-vaulted ceilings, large open rooms and an adjoined stone-built courtyard.

Civil ceremonies take place in the hall, beneath large windows with 120 guests. The area can be styled with additional items such as arches, aisle runners, room dividers and more. If couples are after a church wedding, St Johns Church in Perlethorpe Village is only a 15-minute walk away and is full of charm and character.

Or why not host a blessing with 60 people at Century House or in the Secret Garden? This option is great for close friends and family who can celebrate love in the most beautiful surroundings. Here nearlyweds will have exclusive use of the garden to enjoy the setting with outdoor seating for welcome drinks and entertainment.

Wedding receptions take place in the Riding Hall with 200 people and alcohol is served until midnight. Once the daylight fades to night, the courtyard is lit to allow lovebirds to celebrate under the stars.

The venue has many stunning features such as the Robin Hood statue inside the Courtyard, the Riding Hall’s beams and the draped fairylights that can be added upon request through the team’s décor provider Individual by Design.

Set in private conservation grounds, The Old Vicarage is an award-winning, family run venue set in the heart of Southwell, Nottinghamshire. Couples are greeted by a modern interior the moment they walk into the premises, which sympathetically complements the original features of the Victorian building.

The exclusive and intimate wedding venue has been lovingly designed and up-kept to the highest of standards. Built in 1847, the venue was originally the Vicarage to the local Holy Trinity church. The building has all of its original brick and stonework with original sash windows.

The gardens are beautifully kept with a fountain and the lavender walkways, which are overlooked by the bandstand and orangery.

The venue offers more than just one licensed ceremony area. The Main Ceremony Room is laid with herringbone flooring, panelled wall detailing and framed by a beautiful Victorian bay window. The aisle is lit by three chandeliers making an elegant entrance. Or, say “I do” in the gardens on the bandstand that was handcrafted in Pennsylvania with 60 people. Receptions take place inside with 60 people in the day and an additional 30 guests in the evening. After dancing the night away, guests can head to the eight individually designed bedrooms.

The Old Vicarage offers many packages, which include a threecourse wedding breakfast, evening food, the wedding suite on the special day, a reception drink and more! Each pair will work closely with the dedicated wedding events planners to ensure the perfect day.

Nestled in 22 acres of landscaped grounds, The Lakeside’s iconic red brick structure has been part of the north Nottinghamshire skyline for almost 200 years.

Couples can exchange vows in The Grand Hall with 150 guests, which boasts huge windows overlooking the grounds, a striking contemporary design and original features. After the ceremony, the married couple can capture their first special moments in the gardens, where the lake and mature landscaping make for timeless photos. Guests can sip on champagne and nibble irresistible canapés from the Lakeside’s exclusive wedding garden or mezzanine bar.

There’s a selection of versatile reception rooms including the Grand Hall, Hawksley’s Bar and Lounge as well as the Tower Suite, all of which are equipped with their own bars and sound systems.

The Lakeside offers on-site accommodation to make the wedding party as relaxed as possible before the big day. The two-bedroom, luxury lodge is the perfect space to relax and unwind.

Surrounded by farmland, The Olde Barn Hotel is a charming rustic hotel, which was originally converted from a farmstead. Situated near the unspoilt village of Marston, the hotel has a large car park and is located just one mile from the A1 – perfect for guests travelling in.
