Situated on a 3,000-acre park on the edge of a quintessentially English village, Osmaston Park is an private wedding venue in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. It boasts jaw-dropping views over the surrounding lakes, woodland and parkland – the perfect backdrop to wedding photos.

The marquee has beautiful ivory silk lining, fairylights plus chandeliers and can be tailored to weddings from 50 to 500 people. Couples love the flexibility to decorate the interior to match whatever style or theme they have in mind and the option to provide their own alcohol (no corkage) and choose from a range of caterers.

Although the venue is not currently licensed for civil ceremonies, couples are able to have celebrant blessings outside with incredible views. If the weather is an issue, the venue can offer a wet-weather alternative inside.

Receptions take place in the marquee, which is complete with lining, lighting, hard flooring, carpet, tables, chairs, a dancefloor, luxury toilets, generator and bar. The lawns are used for the reception drinks, bouncy castles, fun and games.

Located in Derbyshire, Holiday Inn South Normanton is a flexible wedding venue that’s perfect for any wedding style.

Couples love the venue’s modern, fresh interior that allows them to add their own personal stamp to match their chosen wedding theme and colour scheme.

Ceremonies take place in multiple spaces at the venue, the Derbyshire suite can accommodate 200 people or it can be split into sections to accommodate smaller weddings. This space overlooks the gardens, which is the perfect location for socialising and photos. Or why not opt for the Pavilion, an octagonal room for 80 guests?

If couples are having an intimate wedding, the Matlock is the perfect room for 30 loved ones or the Bakewell can host 30. Nearlyweds can use any of these spaces for receptions.

When couples book the Holiday Inn South Normanton for their wedding, they’ll receive a complimentary tasting session, a night’s stay on the wedding night and a 1st anniversary stay depending on the package booked.

Set in the beautiful rural village of Gunthorpe, Tom Browns Brasserie was formerly the village school until 1972. Converted into the restaurant in 1986, it still has the charm and character of a Victorian period property. The restaurant has a cosy and romantic feel with a modern style, fires and fairylight installations. Sitting on the leafy banks of the River Trent, the venue offers some gorgeous views of the river and local wildlife, especially from the heated al fresco dining terrace with timber pergolas, festoon bulbs and up-lit living walls.

The multi-award-winning restaurant has held 2 AA rosettes for quality for many years and couples can book exclusive hire of the entire space for their wedding breakfast. The venue can host 120 seated guests and 200 across the whole site with a buffet format.

Goltho Barn Weddings is a family business and the hard-working team ensure every wedding is special and memorable.

The 16th-century barn has a warm red brick exterior made from local clay pits just a few miles away and a traditional Lincolnshire pantile roof. The interior features rustic and romantic features with warm brick walls, beams and wooden elements. Although the spaces have been newly restored, the barn has kept its distinctive character and rural charm.

The building is surrounded by four acres of romantic English country gardens with roses, a wildflower meadow and ponds – the perfect backdrop to capture intimate or group photos.

The venue doesn’t have a ceremony licence, but a celebrant-led ceremony is a lovely way to exchange vows in any room or the garden. Continue the celebrations in the main barn with 100 people for the wedding breakfast and 150 in the evening.

The venue allows couples to decide their caterers, music and any entertainment required.
