Originally an arts and crafts house back in 1914, the venue was redeveloped as a boutique country hotel and spa with beautiful wedding spaces. The venue has many different wedding spaces that can accommodate different sized weddings, including The Orangery, which caters for up to 80 people for ceremonies and receptions, while The Moorgate suite can accommodate 40. Or why not continue the celebrations in the marquee, which is a fantastic choice for wedding breakfasts with 120 guests for a sit-down meal. For intimate weddings, the private dining room is available for up to 10 guests. In the summer months, couples can exchange vows outside on the gazebo if the weather permits.
Entertainment is available in The Orangery and lounge area for evening receptions, with both spaces catering for parties between 80 to 120 people.

Set amidst 600 acres of picturesque parkland, The Riding School is an 18th-century manor house that will transport guests to a bygone era of glamour and elegance.
The manicured gardens, fragrant flowers and beautiful greenhouses are just some of the scenic highlights on the grounds of this estate. Each location makes an excellent backdrop to wedding photography, not forgetting the fabulous Baroque exterior of the main house.
The Grade I listed building is nestled within the Calke Abbey estate on the rural Derbyshire and Leicestershire border. With its bare-brick walls, exposed-oak beams and original windows that provide natural lighting, the venue will suit every couple and their style. Separated by beautiful drapings, lovebirds will say “I do” underneath the stunning windows in the centre of The Riding School surrounded by 160 loved ones. Wedding breakfasts take place overlooking the whole space with 160 people on round or banqueting tables.
The property offers flexible packages that vary in price, and the team is on hand throughout the planning process to offer as much help as needed. They’ll coordinate the entire day to allow couples to relax and enjoy the wedding while knowing that everything is taken care of.

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Peak District National Park, Tissington Hall is truly an unrivalled location with beautiful country views. The historic 17th-century building is a fabulous setting for weddings and can be hired exclusively for each event.
Francis FitzHerbert built the Grade II listed building, which features an imposing southern approach via a grand gateway and an avenue of lime trees. Couples will fall in love with the gardens that stretch more than five acres and provides the perfect backdrop to wedding photography.
Exchange vows in the Main Hall, which can accommodate 90 people inside and 120 outside on the terrace. This space includes original features such as the elegant ornate Jacobean fireplace. The Church of St. Mary’s is only a short walk away and can host 150 loved ones for religious ceremonies.
Guests can enjoy drinks receptions in the stunning Entrance Hall or the Library for those rainy or windy days, while the Terrance and cloisters are perfect for summer weddings. The Arboretum Pavilion marquee offers gorgeous panoramic views across the parkland and has been specifically designed to house fabulous receptions in the gardens. The space has been finished to the highest standard with stunning crystal chandeliers and a starlit ceiling, which produces a romantic atmosphere. Or why not opt for The Pavilion for wedding breakfasts with 150 people and evening receptions with 200? For more intimate wedding breakfasts with 60 people, the stunning 18th century Carriage House has been sympathetically restored and retains many of its original features. An additional 20 guests can join the evening receptions and dance the night away.
Why leave the beautiful Tissington Estate when the venue can accommodate up to 17 guests within the Tissington village? The bridal suite is a romantic space that’s been tastefully decorated and furnished. It comprises of a large bed, a dressing table, a chaise lounge and a roll-top bath. The village is a stunning area with plenty of space and is popular in the summer months.

Situated on a 3,000-acre park on the edge of a quintessentially English village, Osmaston Park is a private wedding venue in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside. The space boasts jaw-dropping views over the surrounding lakes, woodland area and parkland.
The marquee can be tailored to weddings with 50 to 500 people and features beautiful silk lining, fairylights and chandeliers.
Couples have the flexibility to decorate the interior to match whatever style or theme they have in mind. The no corkage property allows them to provide their own alcohol and choose from a range of caterers.
Although the venue currently doesn’t have a license for civil ceremonies, couples can have celebrant-led blessings outside, surrounded by stunning scenery. If the weather is an issue, the venue can offer a wet-weather alternative inside.
Receptions occur in the marquee, and the property provides tables and chairs, a dancefloor and a bar area. For the summer months, lovebirds can use the lawn for reception drinks, bouncy castles and games.
