Hodsock Priory was lovingly restored in 1829 and has been the home to the Buchanan family for nine generations. Down the sweeping driveway, couples will approach the Grade I listed Tudor Gatehouse and find beautiful gardens surrounding the property.

Having once entertained four English kings, including Henry VIII, the venue epitomises a country house-style with modern touches. The Panelled Hall is ideal for traditional, contemporary and informal ceremonies with 100 people and guests will love the family portraits, elegant wallpaper, high windows and modern touches. Or why not tie the knot in the Buchanan Hall, which features a neutral colour palette and bay window with views overlooking the historic gatehouse? For those looking to exchange vows outside, the romantic Georgian gazebo is situated in the gardens and will look beautiful in photographs. For more intimate days, the light and airy Ante Room or the traditional Library are both perfect options.

Hodsock Priory has been hosting spectacular parties for centuries, and the Pavilion is the perfect setting for wedding breakfasts with 130 people and evening receptions with 240.

Nestled in Chesterfield, Ringwood Hall Hotel & Spa is an impressive Georgian manor house set within 19th-century formal gardens. Everything has been lovingly restored to its former glory, from a rolling parkland to a secret woodland area and kitchen garden.

The venue’s charming interior features elegant touches, high ceilings, ornate chandeliers and period features. The Portland Suite has large multipaned windows, which provide plenty of light for ceremonies and receptions with 80 people. Another option is the Chatsworth Suite with views over the sweeping lawns. Lovebirds can exchange vows surrounded by 85 people, 50 for wedding breakfasts and 80 in the evenings. Alternatively, The Hollingwood Suite can accommodate 60 loved ones for the vows and 40 for receptions.

For larger weddings, the Ringwood Suite can hold 250 loved ones for the “I dos”, 130 for wedding breakfasts and 250 for evening celebrations. For more intimate days, The Cavendish suite is great and features excellent views over the gardens.

Situated on the rolling lawns, the Garden Pavilion is a picture-perfect space for outdoor ceremonies, while the Italian Gardens feature a beautiful pergola in tranquil settings. The grounds are ideal for receptions with 180 guests during the day and 350 in the evenings.

Nestled in Lincoln, Hemswell Court is a private Georgian-styled venue that offers landscaped gardens, shaded woodland areas and beautiful walkways. Beneath the beautiful willow tree hangs a handcrafted swing, where many memorable photographs have been taken. There are also tables and chairs around the gardens for guests to use while enjoying the outdoor spaces.

There are various elegant function rooms tastefully furnished and decorated. The Private Drawing Room can host 95 people for ceremonies and 32 for receptions. The room features a large open fireplace, which can be lit during the colder months, two solid oak tables and antique furniture.

For grand weddings, couples can exchange vows in the Primrose Room with 200 loved ones and continue the celebrations in the evenings with 120 people. The light and airy room overlooks the landscaped gardens with high ceilings, traditional bookcases, wooden floors and a fireplace.

For those wanting outdoor ceremonies, The Band Stand is set amid beautifully landscaped gardens. Here pairs can have an unlimited amount of guests. Ideal for reception drinks, the Grand Entrance Hall can fit 40 people.

Continue the celebrations in The Ballroom, which can host 150 people for evening celebrations and features a large spacious bar, dancefloor and seating area.
