Set in two acres of private paddock, Warren Farmhouse Weddings & Events is an outdoor venue located on the grounds of Warren Farm.

The property features many photographic opportunities, such as the picturesque pond and the ancient oak tree that houses the famous double rope swing.

The venue doesn’t have a ceremony licence, but the in-house celebrant can host blessings on the maintained lawns with the stunning 600-year-old farmhouse as a backdrop. It’s also the perfect space for drinks and wedding receptions with 150 people! Alternatively, couples can tie the knot in front of the pond, the marquee or the oak tree.

Lovebirds can continue the celebrations inside the marquee, which features rustic touches, including the exposed-wooden poles, reclaimed-wooden bar, hessian-matted flooring and a sturdy dancefloor. Thousands of fairylights line the roof alongside the three chandeliers that add a touch of glamour to the space.

Couples can choose whether they want formal-limewash banqueting chairs with round tables or long rustic-styled ones with matching benches – they can even pick both to keep all generations happy.

There’s plenty of room around the marquee for oversized games, bouncy castles or seating areas using bales of hay. Couples also have the option for their wedding party to stay overnight in luxury bell tents.

Nestled in a magnificent setting on the banks of the River Trent, Welbeck Hall is a wedding and events venue steeped in more than a century of history. There are two ceremony rooms available for weddings. The Bridge Suite is located on the ground floor and can hold 80 guests, while the Trent Temple is on the first floor and can host up to 100 people. Continue celebrations in the Trent Dining Room with 120 loved ones for wedding breakfasts and 200 people in the evenings.

Steeped in more than 800 years of history, the monastic Abbey dates back to the late 12th-century and was a former home to romantic poet Lord Byron, who was inspired by its Medieval character.

Couples can take a relaxed stroll through the stunning gardens home to waterfalls, serene lakes and floral displays that provide the perfect backdrop to wedding photography.

The historic neutral rooms around the property allow any colour scheme or theme to shine. Say “I do” in The Orangery, which was initially the south transept of the priory church and was named by the Byron Family, who originally converted the space to grow citrus fruits. Today, the area showcases original features and beautiful large windows that offer stunning views across the Spanish Gardens. Nestled in the historic Cloisters is the original 13th-century Chapel, an ideal location for religious ceremonies. When lovebirds book the venue’s Full Wedding Hire Package, both of these spaces can host up to 70 people. For larger guest lists, The Orangery can accommodate up to 100day guests when pairs book the Ceremony & Pre-Reception Package.

Continue the celebrations in The West Front Suite, a charming room with excellent acoustics for speeches and live music. The historical setting is ideal for wedding breakfasts with 70 guests and 120 in the evenings. The Cannon Fort Bar Room offers sunset views of the Upper Lake.

Nearlyweds can hire a marquee for wedding receptions with 1,000 people on The Byron’s Lawn in the Formal Gardens. Or if lovebirds are after festival-style weddings with tipis, live music and overnight camping accommodation, the Paradise Field to the rear of the property is a great option.

Located in a tranquil area of the Formal Gardens, couples can book The Gardeners Cottage on their wedding night and revisit to celebrate special occasions in future years.

THE PUMPING HOUSE

The stunning arch windows and high-glass ceiling create an illuminating space perfect for events. Over the years, the hardworking staff have experimented with different room layouts. They can offer a wide range of options, including traditionalround tables to a banquet style or the venue’s sweetheart setting. For smaller receptions, the upstairs conservatory bar works perfectly for intimate nuptials.

Guests can enjoy their drinks and canapés in the spacious Conservatory Room, which has a beautiful mezzanine view of the Engine Hall.
