QUEENS HOTEL CHELTENHAM

This hotel originally opened in 1838 commanding a prime position on what is now one of Cheltenham’s most charming Georgian streets. It’s suitably placed for guests to explore the cultural delights that the city has to offer along with its variety of parks including Sandford Park, Pittville Park and Imperial Gardens located just a short walk away. Having previously welcomed the world’s greatest writers and thinkers, the Cheltenham Literature Festival is making this spa town the place to be this autumn.

Celebrate one year of opening at the hotel’s restaurant Victoria’s that served its first guests last autumn. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding countryside and farmland, the restaurant works closely with local producers and farmers to create much-loved classic dishes with a contemporary twist.

Weddings take place in the Regency Suite for up to 120 loved ones with its floor-to-ceiling arched windows and golden chandeliers. The hotel’s latest offering is perfect for newlyweds with the Escape and Stay package available to book from the 1st October 2021 from £143 inclusive of breakfast, accommodation, afternoon tea, tickets for an activity for two and car parking (subject to availability).

THE GREENWAY HOTEL AND SPA

This 16th-century Elizabethan manor house is home to 21 elegant bedrooms and suites set in eight acres of stunning grounds enjoying views of the surrounding rolling countryside. The luxurious country house hotel that’s 4 AA Red Star-rated offers the indulgent Elan spa, ideal for a pre-wedding pamper, a relaxing Spa Cafe and 3AA Rosette fine dining in the Garden Room Restaurant.

Weddings take place for up to 60 loved ones seated at dinner and 120 evening guests. Marquee weddings are also available and exclusive use can be booked. The intimate wedding packages are aimed at micro celebrations with two to 14 guests gathered in The Austen Room. Up to 50 people can enjoy The Panel Room for a slightly larger wedding, with both of these spaces offering views of the garden, and the big wedding packages accommodate up to 150 guests.

DoubleTree by Hilton Cheltenham is nestled on the edge of Lilley Brook Golf Course just two miles from the city centre marrying contemporary luxury with a Georgian aesthetic. It’s home to the Lake 53 restaurant boasting views of the grounds, a spa offering an extensive treatment menu and a fitness centre.

Weddings take place in the Park Suite that opens on to a private patio and also in the Garden Room that features a fireplace and crystal chandeliers. In total, up to 250 guests can be accommodated.
