The stunning Elmore Court in Gloucestershire was the beautiful backdrop for Hayley and Callum’s big day decorated with blush pink, grey and neutral colours with a nod to the Glastonbury Festival

Hayley and Callum met at Glastonbury Festival. “We had a mutual friend who introduced us and we got on well,” Hayley tells us. “Callum took my number and our relationship blossomed from there!”

Callum proposed on 23rd June 2019 at Glastonbury Festival as a nod to the place where the couple met. “We queued for almost three hours to get in and after putting our tent up, we went for a walk,” Hayley says. “Callum took me to the pyramid stage and asked a group of people if they would take a photograph of us and as one of them did, he proposed! I was in shock but it was the most amazing feeling. When we arrived home, Callum had arranged for our family to celebrate with us - it was the most amazing proposal.”

Here, Hayley tells us all about their big day styled with a blush pink, grey and neutral colour theme.

When we first viewed Elmore Court, we fell in love with it. Not only did the wonderful team make us feel so welcome and excited for our wedding day but we loved the mix of old and new that the venue offered. The manor house where ceremonies are held offers a traditional feel in comparison to the Gillyflower which is the contemporary event space. It’s stunning and offers everything that you need for a good party which was important for us!

We both felt all sorts of emotions on the day but were mostly so happy that we could celebrate with all of our loved ones. I remember feeling nervous to walk down the aisle and overwhelmed with emotion but once I had done it, I was just so excited to celebrate!

Before our guests headed into the Gillyflower, the team took us in first to look at the space and enjoy a drink and some canapés. This was such a nice touch because we got to spend ten minutes together just the two of us to take it all in.

We named our tables after the different stages at Glastonbury. One of our suppliers designed our table plan to look like a Glastonbury sign in our chosen colour scheme. She did an amazing job and it’s such a beautiful keepsake! We wanted our cake to reflect the Glastonbury festival so our cake designer added in the pyramid stage, flags, Glastonbury sign and even us two wearing our wellies - we loved it!

Our centrepieces were pink and grey candles displayed alongside single flowers in silver vases. They looked simple and elegant and beautifully complimented the colour scheme.

Our chosen flowers were pretty peonies and roses in blush pink and neutral shades. Callum looked so handsome in his grey suit which matched the groomsmen and our fathers. They all wore light-pink satin ties to match the bridesmaid’s dresses.

I wore a dress by Jesus Piero that was simple and elegant and made me feel like a princess. I also purchased the matching veil and a sparkly hair accessory. I loved having my make-up done by my chosen make-up artist, Emma.

“We chose a barbecue of lamb, sausages, steak, prawn skewers, tomato and mozzarella salad and triple-cooked chips for our wedding breakfast. The food was cooked outside which we watched from inside the Gillyflower. During the evening, we all enjoyed wood-fired pizzas that tasted delicious.” - Hayley and Callum

During the drinks reception, we hired a saxophonist who performed a variety of songs which created the perfect atmosphere. We had a band play during the evening reception who created such a good vibe and got everyone up dancing! They then did a DJ set for us until 2 am! Our beautiful bridesmaids wore full-length pink dresses with satin waist ties and a bow at the back.
