IVY LODGE AT CIRENCESTER PARK POLO CLUB REVEALS REFURBISHMENT AND NEW MENU

Cirencester Park Polo Club has now appointed a resident full-time chef, Ethan Rodgers, previously from The Lucky Onion group, to turn the establishment into a popular eatery serving gourmet food. The menu offers polo-themed dishes including the chukka cheese burger and the bookmaker sandwich served with horsetard sauce. Ethan’s philosophy is to use fine locally sourced produce that’s cooked simply and served in a way that allows the food to speak for itself. One of the most popular dishes on the menu is steak frites, a dry-aged 6oz pave steak served with fries and béarnaise sauce. For vegetarians, the Bathurst Estate wild garlic Acquerello risotto made with fresh peas, mint, pesto and a free-range poached egg is a must-try.

The choice of starters inspired by countries around the world include Spanish gazpacho soup, Thai-fusion bang-bang chicken salad and the classic Greek caesar salad.
