Ramp up the romance with beautiful roses and soft pink tones

Set in the heart of the glorious New Forest, the Montagu Arms Hotel, Beaulieu provided the perfect backdrop for this country wedding styled shoot. Organised by wedding planner Holly Annetts and photographer Dom Brenton to celebrate the English summer, it was shot just as the garden roses were coming into bloom. The bride’s classic English-rose complexion fitted the theme perfectly. An abundance of summer blooms were used throughout from the bouquets to decorating the ceremony and intimate dining room. Stunning gowns, a showstopping car, four-tier wedding cake and Insta-worthy props added to the picture-perfect scene.

Light blush tones were used to bring out the bride’s natural beauty and a timeless updo added to the romantic vibe.

“I wanted to create a fresh, classic bridal look perfect for an English Rose and I kept the hair classic with a modern twist. This year’s hairstyling is very boho chic and there are lots of low twisted buns and chignons around so I wanted to create something that would fit in with current trends too.” – Mel Tilsed, Hair and make-up artist

A floral arc adorned the heavy oak fireplace in the ceremony room with oak leaves and a rich mix of green foliage to decorate the mantelpiece. Horseshoes were also included in the décor as a nod to the New Forest venue.

English summer flowers featured throughout the wedding venue and on the tiers of the beautiful wedding cake.
