Set within the award-winning beauty of the Millennium Country Park, The Forest Centre is surrounded by a mixture of a magnificent open woodland area, grass meadows and lakes. The venue is the perfect idyllic setting for celebrations with peaceful wildlife and a flower garden complete with charming wooden arbours and walkways. Ideally located for guests traveling in, the Forest Centre offers ample parking and is easily accessible from the M1 and A1.
The venue’s team know that all couples are different; that’s why the wedding spaces have been designed with neutral décor to match any colour scheme or theme. With many ceremony and reception spaces available, The Forest Centre is the perfect wedding property. Exchange vows in The Rectory, a light and spacious ceremony room that can seat up to 80 guests and overlooks the nature reserve entrance. Decorated in neutral tones with an exposed-brick wall and wooden accents, the area is versatile and welcoming for guests.
The largest ceremony space, The Grange, can seat up to 100 guests for ceremonies and offer views across the wildlife pond and grass meadow. Both of these spaces include decorations for the registrar’s table and any pedestal flowers. With neutral décor and double doors that open up into a large open space, The Grange is the ideal choice for ceremonies that can accommodate all friends and family.
The Marquee Reception can host 80 to 150 loved ones on a private meadow behind the Forest Centre, with views over our lake and surrounding woodland. Decorated in ivory-pleated linings with a choice of coloured swags, the marquee comes complete with a carpeted seating area, a wooden dancefloor, chandeliers, complementary up-lighters, chairs and round tables, a bar and cake table.
Alternatively, The Grange is the ideal area for wedding breakfasts with 60 people and it comes with white linen, chair covers and bows to suit different wedding themes. Leading to a partially covered private terrace with seating for guests, the suite also offers access to a private lawn for photographs.
The Lakeside Room is an excellent location for evening receptions, so get the party started and celebrate with 220 guests. The space comes with a licensed bar and space for a DJ or live band. With a high-vaulted ceiling, festoon lighting and room for a dancefloor, the location offers plenty of space for friends and family to get together and enjoy the day.
All weddings at the Forest Centre helps fund the Forest of Marston Vale, supporting the venue’s vision to create new woodlands and wild spaces across 61 square miles in Bedfordshire. As a special gift, the team will dedicate a tree in the forest to each couple to mark the importance of their marriage.

Situated in 150 acres of stunning parkland, Turvey House is a magnificent Grade I listed county house built-in 1794. As guests enter the long-sweeping driveway, they’ll be blown away by the building and the beautiful gardens. The venue knows that no two weddings are the same, which is why the team is very flexible and allows couples to take over the grounds with few limitations. With the magnificent house as a backdrop, views of the River Great Ouse, and exclusive use of the saces, couples are sure to create their dream day.
Turvey House doesn’t have a ceremony space, but lovebirds can have a celebrant-led wedding anywhere on the grounds and continue the celebrations in a traditional-country marquee, a tipi tent or a stretch marquee.
The beautiful-walled garden is the perfect place for wedding photography as well as the terrace at the front of the house, which offers uninterrupted views.
Nestled in the magical woodlands, the beautiful River Cottage is new from 2021, and includes three bedrooms, a sitting room with a wood burner and fully-refurbished spaces.

Located in four acres, The Woodland Manor House is perfectly set in the centre of woodlands and gardens, which can be seen from almost every window. Arrive in style with the venue’s helipads at the rear of the property and wow guests.
The historic property dates back to the 1800s and features large-bay windows, a grand-entrance doorway proudly displaying the Fitzpatrick family crest and a climbing shrubbery that creates the perfect backdrop for photos. The original house has been extended by adding extra on-site accommodation for guests, so loved ones won’t have to worry about traveling home.
The venue has many beautiful function rooms with traditional-high ceilings and original fireplaces, coupled with modern touches. The main reception area greets guests with the Grand Staircase framing an original-stained glass window, a stunning fireplace and a panelledreception room.
Say “I do” in the venue’s largest room, the Autograph Suite, which leads straight out onto the garden terrace and makes a beautiful backdrop for ceremonies. The room also has a full-length bay window, a marble fireplace and can also be used for receptions with 119 people. Or, why not exchange vows in the Library or the Conservatory surrounded by 30 people? These spaces are an excellent option for intimate nuptials and can be hired for extra reception space in the evenings. For more grand affairs, couples can hire a marquee to use in the garden area. The manor house also has a bar and restaurant for couples to use if the venue is hired exclusively.
After dancing the night away, guests can retreat to any 34 on-site bedrooms, including a stunning bridal suite, a small cottage on the grounds with three rooms and a classic four-poster bed suite.
A dedicated wedding coordinator is on hand throughout the wedding journey to help couples create their dream day.
