Nestled in the heart of East London, Queen Mary Venues is a beautiful setting for your nuptials and boasts as well as an array of beautiful flower beds, lawns, courtyard gardens and the ability to escape it all whilst strolling along Regents Canal.

The Octagon is where all ceremonies and wedding receptions take place. With weddings from 80 – 240 people, this venue can hold up to 500 people at a standing reception. The Octagon is located within the historic Queens Building. The building stands majestically with a manicured lawn to the front, perfect for drinks receptions and pictures by the clocktower and a tranquil courtyard garden perfect to take shade from the summer heat to the rear.

Inside the Octagon, there are two balconies that allow the bride and groom to have some truly special pictures amongst the colours of the original books displayed around the room.

Set in a quiet street in Clapton, Hackney, Core Clapton is the perfect setting if you want a large blank canvas with the freedom to add your own personality to your surroundings. The main event space benefits from high, barrelled ceilings and its numerous windows provide an abundance of natural light. The white décor means this space is perfect for any theme and can be brought to life with your your choice of décor and lighting.

The ground floor reception room hosts ceremonies with 50 loved ones and the main event space can accommodate 200 guests. The reception room is also perfect for your arrival drinks, a children’s area, photobooths or a chill out zone. It’s also a useful area for guests to mix if the main space needs a room change between your ceremony and evening party.

The venue benefits from a private terrace for the warmer months and a large onsite kitchen for all your catering needs.

Boasting views of Canary Wharf, the O2 and the docks, this Docklands hotel features a host of memorable photo opportunities on its doorstep, including the Emirates Air Line cable cars and Dockers Statue. The modern design and outside terrace makes the building a striking feature in London’s historic docks. The spacious, modern hotel has 210 bedrooms, a restaurant and a vibrant bar. Ceremonies are held in either The Victoria Suite or Docklands East that accommodate 50 and 120 guests respectively. There are a number of reception spaces to choose from for up to 220 people, but the most popular choice is the Docklands Suite, which caters for 160 guests but can also e divided for more intimate gatherings. All packages include a menu tasting and overnight stay for the newlyweds.

Bordered by the River Thames and West India Quay, the Museum of London Docklands offers beautiful views over the water. Couples can make the most of the location with a drinks reception on the terrace.

Located over five floors, this Grade I listed Georgian warehouse seamlessly blends contemporary decor with historic charm. Tracing the 2,000-year history of London’s river, port and people, it offers a selection of beautiful settings with features such as exposed brickwork, Caribbean pine columns, galleries and blank-canvas spaces.

Vows take place in four characterful spaces, from the intimate No. 1 Warehouse Gallery that seats 30 guests, to the large and flexible Wilberforce Room for 200 guests. Post vows, couples can combine the ceremony rooms with some of the incredible galleries to host their drinks reception and after party of up to 400 guests, all of which offer a truly memorable big day.

Couples will love having access to the galleries. The immersive Sailortown is a crowd-pleasing recreation of a London district, complete with its own pub. Adding actors to mingle with guests will boost the experience.

Located in London’s East End, Rich Mix is a former garment factory now transformed into a multi-arts venue, which offers a quirky alternative to more traditional settings. The surrounding streets of Shoreditch make for a fabulous East London backdrop, and couples will love the venue’s two large-scale murals for a memorable photo opportunity.

This vibrant venue is host to a year-round programme of diverse cultural events and has a number of versatile wedding options from theatre spaces to boutique cinema screens, all of which can be customised or themed.
