What’s your best piece of advice for couples planning their big-day entertainment? Think about your setlist and the right placements for live music during your ceremony. Most couples know what songs they’d love to walk down the aisle to but don’t consider having some music as guests arrive at the venue or during the signing. If you’re not sure about what songs would work speak to your musician. They have a lot of experience and should be willing to give you some great suggestions. What do you offer for weddings? What do you offer for weddings? We are SoulPlay, one of the UK’s finest 7 to 12-piece party bands offering live entertainment. We perform twice per month at a London immersive dining event called SoulSupperUK, where couples can experience our high energy show prior to booking us for their wedding.

Always hire a band that’ll take care of all the technical aspects needed for the evening’s entertainment as this will remove any pressure from you and allow you to focus on having a great day.

What do you offer for weddings? I create a sketchbook of detailed, quirky cartoons, produced over the course of the wedding and hand it over at the end of the night before I leave as an instant souvenir. I don’t get in the way. I discreetly observe the wedding and I guarantee a minimum of twelve one-off cartoons to immortalise some of the day’s funny moments.

Why is it a great option? My cartoons provide a different way of capturing your day, with character and humour. I can draw the funny stories of the day, often moments that the photographer doesn’t capture; like the time the groom and the best man came running out of the church shouting We forgot the rings, or when a groom split his trousers on the bouncy castle. These are the parts that people will remember and laugh about for years to come.

This sounds difficult, but all it really means is that you should try something a bit different, something that’s caught your eye even though it might not be exactly what your guests expect.
