Built in 1770s and lovingly restored in 2015, this venue’s been brought into the present day without losing the heart of its elegant history. This 18th-century house exudes elegance, charm and sophistication with high ceilings and a real sense of character.
There’s a collection of stunning spaces to use in the morning whilst you’re preparing for your big day and The Willow and Mulberry Suites are both options for your ceremony and reception seating 120 guests and 150 guests respectively for your nuptials and up to 200 for your evening party. Outdoors a tranquil oasis awaits you. Situated beside the River Wandle, the private lawn offers stunning photo opportunities with its beautiful old footbridge leading over the river and what’s more, Morden Hall’s exclusive use, which means you’ll have the place all to yourselves on your big day.

THE GORING
020 7396 9000| www.thegoring.com Built in 1910 on a quiet, leafy street in Belgravia and designed by the fashionable Edwardian architect, John Evelyn Trollope, The Goring is an elegant example of Edwardian Baroque. The neatly lined windows framed by light red brick, set against the large flowing union jack flags have become a well-recognised address. Interiors have been theatrically designed by Russell Sage. The glamorous Front Hall which is decked in hand-painted wallpaper depicting an English parkland – into which wild animals have escaped sets the subtle theme that continues throughout and outdoors the Goring’s Goring Garden is a delightful secret haven.
You can choose from four rooms for your celebrations here. Accommodating 100 guests, the Garden Room is the largest and features its own conservatory area with a sliding wall of glass leading out to the gardens. Holder of a Michelin star and three AA Rosettes, The Dining Room offers an impeccable dining experience for 80 guests. Overlooking the garden, The Veranda caters for 40 guests and sits in a beautiful pavilion, linking the outdoor and indoor spaces and the recently refurbished Drawing Room has the relaxed sophistication of a grand English country house or a chic private city residence seating 12 loved ones.
In January 2013, The Goring was granted a Royal Warrant of appointment to HM the Queen for Hospitality Services, and in 2016 The Dining Room was awarded its first Michelin star.

THE MITRE

Set on the banks of the River Thames, if you want to arrive in style, The Mitre has its own riverside jetty equipped with a boat available for hire and beautiful riverside terrace decorated with twinkly lights and parisian style furniture, perfect for Thameside weddings.
Interior designer Nicola Harding is the creative lead behind the transformation of the hotel, which combines quirky British sensibility with elegant authentic luxury.
The Orangery provides a picturesque backdrop for your reception with walls lined with live plants and impressive lights and housed on the ground floor, you’ll have access to the entire private terrace and boat jetty. This space can cater for 50 guests.

Situated on the first floor, he historic Library and Erasmus Wilson Room can be used for ceremonies and receptions of 30 guests and guests can enjoy drinks in the evening sunset, outside on the Park View Terrace. For bigger celebrations, party the night away on the sixth floor of The View with spaces to host up to 180 for dinner or 300 standing. These rooms offer views across the city including The Shard and London Eye.
