Situated within the exclusive Wynyard Estate with more than 200 acres of mature woodland and rolling parkland, Wynyard Golf Club is the perfect wedding backdrop with beautiful and contemporary settings.

Lovebirds can create their dream wedding with help from a dedicatedwedding coordinator that will work closely with couples from the start of the planning journey.

The Wellington Suite can accommodate a maximum of 100 guests for ceremonies and features a cream-aisle runner, lanterns, a dressed registrar table and chairs with an ivory cover and any coloured sashes to match any colour scheme. All receptions take place in this spacious area, which can hold 120 guests and includes a private bar, bathroom facilities and an outdoor terrace.

The summer months create the perfect locations for drink receptions on the private and exclusive terrace area or under the veranda for a shaded spot. During the colder months, the Duke suite is great for intimate drink receptions.

If golf buggies are available, newlyweds can take the opportunity to get a candid photo shot and take a ride across to the stunning woodlands.

Situated in one of the most beautiful areas in the North East, Redworth Hall Hotel is a 17th-century Jacobean manor that provides the perfect setting for any special day. The largest space is the Prince Bishop Suite, which has been recently refurbished and includes a private foyer area and bar with a maximum capacity of 180 seated guests. Another beautiful room is The Great Hall with wooden floors, wood paneling and a minstrel’s gallery, which can accommodate 40 to 110 guests for ceremonies plus wedding breakfasts and 150 for evening receptions. This space adjoins with the Blue Room Lounge, Knott Gardens, Baronial Lounge and a private bar area, giving pairs exclusivity of the right-wing of the hotel.

There’s also the Summer House set in the lower gardens, which was built in the 1930s and is ideal for outdoor weddings. The 120 seated outdoor terrace is new for 2020, giving extra space and comfort for reception drinks in summer.

Continue the celebrations in The Bramhall Suite with 100 loved ones, which features wooden floors and large windows to the side and a private bar area. Once wedding breakfasts have taken place, the venue’s team will turn the room around for evening receptions.

The Parkmore Hotel has a whole host of facilities that can be utilised before, after or during the big day. The Purple Peacock is a fabulous new addition; this Asian fusion restaurant is a hit with the locals, serving afternoon tea, bottomless brunch and everything in between!
