The Talbot is a 500-year-old property located in the picturesque village of Ripley. This charming area is host to many landmark events such as Ripley Bonfi re and the farmer’s market. Conveniently located between Heathrow and Gatwick, the venue is just 30 minutes from Central London and has free on-site parking facilities.

The exterior is made up of ivy-clad walls, distinctive period features and an impressive archway that leads to the courtyard. Inside are 43 modern bedrooms, a restaurant that overlooks the terrace and a cosy bar with traditional log fi res.

CELEBRATE IN STYLE Couples can say their vows in the Wisley Suite, a versatile self-contained space with high ceilings, chandeliers and room for 100 day guests and 80 for a sit-down meal. Boasting original beams and heaps of character, the 15th-century Surrey Barns has an intimate and romantic atmosphere with space for 70 loved ones. The Surrey Barns and Wisley Suite can be used separately or in conjunction. The barn has a new wooden bar with poser tables and a separate dining area that can accommodate 30 friends and family. Guests can party the night away in the Wisley Suite and use the private bar and quiet seating area in the Surrey Barns for up to 150 nearest and dearest.

More intimate nuptials take place in Emma’s Room with 10 people or The Garden Room or Victory Suite with 30.

Designed in the 18th century, Painshill was created as a living work of art with dramatically placed follies that provide stunning views of the surrounding area. Couples will fall in love with the grounds, which include a 14-acre serpentine lake, ornate bridges, romantic ruins and picturesque vistas. A buggy and driver will be provided, so the happy couple can explore the many wonderful locations and take photographs.

CELEBRATE IN STYLE Painshill offers natural and elegant outside ceremonies. The Gothic Temple is fully licenced and sits at the top of a hill overlooking Painshill Lake. Lovebirds will exchange their vows under the Gothic arches while the guests sit under the aisle of trees that lead beautifully up to it.

Following the service, the Amphitheatre Lawn, which leads up to the Temple, can be used exclusively for photos and drinks. A marquee will be provided to ensure everyone is comfortable.

Although Painshill doesn’t have the facilities to host receptions, the charity offers different packages with other local venues, including another stunning garden RHS Wisley.

Rylston, the Weybridge Register Offi ce is a detached art and crafts manor house that dates back to 1911. Steeped in history, the land was originally used as royal hunting grounds by Henry VIII, Elizabeth I, James J and Charles I. There are plenty of spaces for those all-important photographs, including the large porch, ceremony room entrance with original oak-panelling, beautiful fi replace, magnifi cent oak staircase and landscaped gardens. CELEBRATE IN STYLE Ceremonies are held in the Rylston Suite, which is bathed in natural light from the large bay window and decorated in luxurious burgundy, gold and ivory with mahogany furniture and impressive chandeliers. The Rylston Suite is available Monday to Saturday and can accommodate ceremonies of up to 50 people.
