Visit us online at county.wedding and countyweddingevents.com Yes folks, it’s that time of year again where I go positively gaga over everything Christmas. Regardless of everything that’s happened this year, I refuse to let it dampen my seasonal spirit. So, with that said, I’d certainly advise you not to miss our gorgeously festive styled shoot over on page 51, created by the excellent hair and make-up artist Nadia Wyatt Hair and her team.

As you may have noticed, I can’t get enough of styled shoots. Sussex’s incredible suppliers put their hearts and souls into them and the inspiration they produce is nothing short of awe-inspiring. So, we certainly have a cornucopia of treats for the eyes this issue! Be sure to stop by pages 51, 60 and 65 for 12 pages packed with big-day bliss.

Wait, the wedspiration doesn’t end there. We’ve got no less than three of our readers’ big days to share with you, allowing you to learn from those who’ve gone before. Plus, we’ve chatted to the county’s florists (page 55) and venue stylists (page 69) in a bid to aid your planning.

As you can tell I’m more than a tad excited about what we’ve got to show you this issue, so I shall stop rambling, let you dive in, and hope you enjoy this issue as much as I enjoyed putting it together.

Wishing you all a very happy Christmas and I’ll see you in 2021. Kelly x

WIN!

A LUXURY FIVE-NIGHT HONEYMOON IN THE MALDIVES, WORTH £3,350

I made the horrendous error of putting this feature (page 60) together right before lunch one afternoon, and the array of mouthwatering wedding breakfasts on display really made my tummy rumble!

I’m obsessed with this glamorous gold Sassi Holford design.

This styled shoot certainly brought some colour back in to my life when it landed in my inbox! Don’t miss it on page 65.

There’s a riot of colour with a message over on page 45 in Eloise and Rebecca’s wedding. “Our big-day bake was a three-tier rainbow cake celebrating LGBT pride,” Eloise told us.

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Frank. This very handsome chap had an important role to play at Jemma and Joe’s nuptials. Find out more on page 39.

Speaking of colour I love this vibrant balloon installation framing Melissa and James on their wedding day at Buxted Park. Check it out on page 32.

Why should the men have all the fun with their buttonholes? Treat the mums to a beautiful corsage to really make them feel special and part of the bridal party. Your floral questions are answered over on page 55. Neon signs are the latest super-cool trend in venue styling – a perfect backdrop for snaps and focal point for your reception space. Discover more styling ideas over on page 69.

How cosy is this spot for an intimate Christmassy wedding reception? Turn to page 51 for more.
