If you’re looking for a super-fun Valentine’s date night in Brighton, look no further than the i360 and its Valentine’s Day Sky Dining experience. Spend a romantic evening dining on an indulgent three-course meal at 450ft above the city. Your evening will start with a welcome glass of award-winning Nyetimber Classic Cuvee at West Beach Barn and Kitchen before boarding the observation pod, which will be set up for fine dining and decked in romantic lighting. Your delicious starter will be served during the first 25-minute flight, followed by the main course during the second flight, and desserts, coffee and petit fours during the final flight. NEW FIZZ ON THE BLOCK

Recent addition to the English sparkling wine scene Boco by House Coren is made in Sussex from top-quality English grapes using the Charmat method, making it one of the first of its kind in the UK. Just like the method used in making prosecco, the secondary fermentation that occurs under pressure creates carbon dioxide and gives the wine its natural fizz. By fermenting in a tank rather than a bottle, the wine can be released earlier, so it’s bursting with fruit-driven flavours. The majority of other homegrown bubbly uses the champagne method of doing the secondary fermentation in the bottle, so House Coren wanted to release a Charmat-method wine as it believes the style showcases the bright, fruity freshness found in English grapes and offers a more affordable alternative to the traditional method sparkling wines already out there.

William Coren, managing director of House Coren says, “Boco is all about living life to the full and raising a toast to adventure. We’re delighted to debut our very first wine, which will be one of the many in our future portfolio.” William runs the vineyard in West Sussex with his family having planted 30,000 vines in May 2020.

Nymans, the National Turst property near Haywards Heath, will play host to a new light trail from 11th February to 6th March. Set against a glorious backdrop, this is a garden made for romance, a place where creativity has flourished and quirkiness is celebrated.

The trail allows you to wander between flickering flames and majestic trees, as lights dance from one amazing space to another. Within this fiery interpretation of stars and sphere, illuminated flora and fantasy, there are also moments of reflection set to an intriguing soundscape.
