WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? The Grand Lodge at Oaklands sits within 200 acres of beautiful woodland, beside a picturesque lake, in a tranquil setting, in the heart of rural east Yorkshire. Using locally sourced materials such as timber cladding, allows The Grand Lodge, together with the outdoor and indoor ceremony areas, to blend in delightfully with the natural surroundings.

TIME TO CELEBRATE The Pavilion is the outdoor ceremony area which benefits from views over the lake. It’s a versatile space which couples can put their individual stamp on and seats up to 170.

The Lakeside Lodge is the indoor ceremony area that boasts character and charm. It’s separate from The Grand Lodge and can seat 120 guests − a great backup if you’ve chosen the outdoor ceremony area, but the weather isn’t kind. The Grand Lodge is the reception area that can seat up to 200 for your wedding breakfast.

WE LOVE… Approximately 200 trees, sourced locally from north Yorkshire, were used to build The Grand Lodge. The trees were replaced by a new oak woodland adding to the 150,000 trees already surrounding Oaklands.

THE MANOR ROOMS

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? The Manor Rooms has been sympathetically built with luxurious interiors, ticking the box for both rustic and elegant themes.

TIME TO CELEBRATE For your ceremony, The Manor Room can seat up to 150 guests. This amazing room has huge chandeliers, panelled walls, easy bar access and dancefloor areas, and offers breathtaking views of the rolling hills of the Yorkshire Wolds. There’s options to have your ceremony in The Library and The Garden Room, you can even say your vows on The Terrace − a great space for guests to witness your nuptials whilst enjoying a little sunshine in the private garden.

For your reception, The Manor Room is a fabulous dining and party room, adorned with huge chandeliers. There’s a choice of dining furniture and layouts, offering both rustic and elegant styles, a feature bar and a dancefloor. This room hosts up to 150 guests.

For a smaller reception of up to 40 loved ones, The Garden Room offers a great space for a gourmet dining experience or afternoon tea party celebration.

WE LOVE… With stunning views, guests are wowed by the beautiful location, overlooking the fields and hills, where they can sit under the stars and enjoy the Boma outdoor seating area and firepit, which is a nod to the Taylor family’s love of Africa.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? Rise Hall is a quintessential English country house with modern, luxurious comforts. Light and airy, this isn’t a hotel nor a museum, but your ‘stately home from home’ for the duration of your stay. Rise Hall is a Grade II listed stone country house in a Capability-Brown designed country park. Hidden away down its own private driveway, Rise Hall is a grand and imposing historic building. Rise Hall’s grand portico entrance provides a perfect backdrop for those all-important photographs.

It has 31 individually styled bedrooms for you and your guests, including the romantic Swift Suite for the wedding night. TIME TO CELEBRATE Rise Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies in the Morning Room, an elegant and light room with a stunning chandelier, original features and views across the manicured lawns of the estate, suitable for ceremonies of up to 100. The Orangery is the largest space in the house. A contemporary and flexible space flooded in natural daylight, for ceremonies and receptions up to 200 guests.

WE LOVE… Rise Hall knows how much your animals are a part of the family. To enable our couples to include their dogs in their big day, the venue offers a highly individual, all-inclusive canine wedding chaperone service.

THE DEEP

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? The Deep is a landmark wedding venue located in Kingston Upon Hull. Set amongst beautiful aquatic displays, The Deep invites you to enjoy exclusive after-hours use of the aquarium and tie the knot surrounded by the magical wildlife of the sea.

TIME TO CELEBRATE The Deep provides stunning spots within the attraction for ceremonies. These include alongside the sharks and turtles in the Endless Oceans exhibits, amongst the jellyfish in Cool Seas, next to the fun-loving penguins in the Kingdom of Ice or in the observatory overlooking the Humber Estuary.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT? You’ll feel at one with nature in this beautiful wedding venue set in the Yorkshire countryside and surrounded by woodlands, manicured gardens and a stunning protected arboretum. In fair weather, you can spill out into its idyllic patio overlooking the stunning garden area, bordered by an array of beautiful trees and flowers, and a small stream, for lawn games or simply socialising outdoors.

TIME TO CELEBRATE Ceremonies can take place in either the Drawing Room with its stunning fireplace and elegant carved ceilings or the Great Hall with its vaulted ceiling and wrought iron chandeliers. The Drawing Room has a capacity of 100 and the Great Hall 75 for ceremonies.

Your wedding breakfast can be taken in the Drawing Room which can be transformed into a dancefloor in the evening. Then there’s the cosy Library Bar snug, and comfy Palm Parlour for guests who choose to take a little time out from the festivities in a quieter corner.

The Drawing Room has a dining capacity of 84, the House has a capacity of 150.

WE LOVE… The Highfield House offers full exclusivity of the house and grounds for the full weekend of your wedding celebrations and a choice of one of its stunning suites for the night before your wedding and the night of your wedding.

The Coach House is a high-ceilinged red brick barn with rustic lighting and a waterfall of fairylights, providing a romantic, rustic chic backdrop for your vows which comfortably seats up to 100 people. As well as the four barns, for smaller, more intimate spaces, couples may choose to marry in the main Dining Room within Camblesforth Hall itself which is also licensed for wedding ceremonies and can comfortably seat up to 25. The evening capacity is up to 200 people within both the Poultiggery Bar and Cart Shed.
