WHAT TO EXPECT… Manor House Lindley is a listed Georgian Mansion and one of the most historic buildings in Huddersfield. Recently renovated to the highest standards, its imposing stone façade is a wonderful example or period architecture that impresses at every turn.

From courtyards and private gardens, to stunning Georgian fountains that guide you to its grand entrance, Manor House has a wealth of impressive outdoor spaces. Set in mature wooded grounds with a gated entrance, it creates a beautiful setting for a wedding any time of year. From the grounds you can see the local church and the landmark Lindley Clocktower. TIME TO CELEBRATE With six licensed rooms, there’s no shortage of wedding ceremony options at Manor House. The Coach House is elegant and dramatic and accommodates 160 to 200 capacity; the Lantern Room, sumptuous and glamourous, hosts 40 guests; Lindley Cellars is atmospheric and quirky and caters for 30; and the Bridal Suite, intimate and private, welcomes 10 loved ones.

THE NORTHORPE BARN

WHAT TO EXPECT… The Northorpe Barn is a beautiful Grade II listed 17th century barn retaining much of its historic character with exposed stone, rafters and original beams. The cosy mezzanine provides a great view of the wedding celebration and can be used as an additional space and decorated as you wish. There’s a large, enclosed lawn and outside seating area with pergola and lighting which can be decorated with hay bales, outside games or gazebos.

TIME TO CELEBRATE Ceremonies take place in the barn. Stylish chivari chairs create a beautiful aisle to be dressed in the style of your wedding, comfortably sitting up to 110 guests. The barn transforms seamlessly from ceremony to reception area. The venue can seat up to 110 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 130 guests for evening drinks and dancing. With a private bar and full disabled access, guests have exclusive use of the barn, lawned area and surrounding grounds.

WE LOVE! The Northorpe Barn offers a Prepare & Party afternoon for the wedding couple and up to eight guests! Here, you’ll have exclusive access to the barn for the full afternoon before your big day for you to dress and decorate, sort out your final arrangements, have your flowers and accessories delivered, and run through the plans for the next day. You can also enjoy afternoon tea and a glass of fizz to get you in the celebratory mood!

TIME TO CELEBRATE The Malthouse is a licensed venue for civil ceremonies and also welcomes humanist ceremonies and blessings. Your ceremony can be held in the Loft Suite, with its high vaulted ceiling, original beams and stunning stone walls. For your reception, the area accommodates up to 130 guests.

THE WORKSHOP AND LOFT

WHAT TO EXPECT… Stripped-back yet full of character, with mismatched wooden furniture and original details it’s a perfect place for couples looking for a nontraditional wedding venue.

TIME TO CELEBRATE Ceremonies take place in The Workshop in front of the mantel which is dressed with seasonal flowers and foliage. The Workshop is a simple space with stripped floorboards, whitewashed walls and raw plaster work and seats 50 guests. It’s decorated with elegant floral artworks and wreathes that are handmade in the flower shop downstairs. The room is flooded with natural light through the daytime and cosies up beautifully with candles and lamps in the evening.

Post ceremony drinks are served in The Green Room which is situated just off The Workshop. This space has the feel of a gents club with Chesterfield chairs and vintage velvet curtains. Receptions take place in The Loft on the second floor. The venue can seat up to 50 people for dining on beautiful Indian market tables. It features a soft seating area with Chesterfields and rugs, red brick, exposed plaster and a bespoke bar made from reclaimed materials.

WHAT TO EXPECT… Briar Court is situated in the heart of the West Yorkshire Pennines. The hotel and its 48 rooms are based over two floors, our large function suite and Da Sandro Pizzeria Ristorante are located in the hotel grounds. There’s complimentary accommodation for the bride and groom included in all packages. TIME TO CELEBRATE Your ceremony and reception can take place in the Briar Suite, recently refurbished to offer a space with modern style and elegance. This area is private with its own entrance and bar. It’s suitable for ceremonies of up to 100 guests and can host a wedding breakfast capacity 120, evening reception up to 200. For a more intimate space there’s the Court Room which can welcome 50 guests.
