April Fools' Day Production Sale

20 yearling Black & red angus bulls 110 angus & 30 hereford/angus First calf pairs Beatrice 77 Livestock Sales Beatrice, NE
Welcome! D&D Cattle Company started in 1988 with a commercial herd and now consists of over 200 head of registered Angus and Red Angus cattle. We strive to produce cows that are easy keeping, have strong maternal characteristics, are docile, and are structurally sound - as a good cow makes a good bull. We market approximately 40 bulls a year between two sales. Our Angus bulls were previously sold private treaty and we decided to offer them to you via live auction. These bulls are moderate framed, thick muscled, smooth moving, with great length and fleshing ability. We have an outstanding set of bulls this year and feel they are solid from top to bottom. They come from some of the most impressive cows we have in our herd. These bulls are made to work for you and have been proven to “hold up” after a breeding season. Our mission has always been to raise cattle that excel both in the pasture and on the rail, and these bulls will produce calves to do just that. Whether you’re a long time customer or are viewing our program for the first time, we thank you for your interest in our genetics, and hope you find bulls that will fit your operation’s breeding goals. Sincerely, D&D Cattle Company
Dan & Marilee Braesch Jacob, Courtney, Reagan & Grant Sukalski Jared, Michaela & Carson Mann

First-calf pairs
Heldt Cattle is family operation based out of Yutan, NE. We are offering an elite group of first calf heifer pairs with great dispositions, structural soundness and maternal characteristics. These females are hot-wire broke and were rotated on corn stalks this past year. We have 110 Angus pairs and 30 Hereford Angus cross pairs. We have been using D&D bulls and AI’ing for over 20 years. The heifers received Viral Shield + L5, AI’d to Final Solution and ultra-sounded 90 days post AI. The females were turned out on stalks in October and hand fed 4lbs of gluten pellet. They received Scour Guard and were poured in January. The first calf was born February 12th and on March 4th the calves were castrated, Pyramid 5, UltraBac + somnus, and the heifers poured. In 2016 the steer mates to these heifers were placed on feed with a starting weight of 885lbs and finished at 1423lbs with an ADG of 4.72 and a feed conversion of 5.23.
