Kenzie Amico (‘20) is known as a passionate powderpuff player. She’s played all four years at Covenant, and she said that the entire week is an exercise in understanding and supporting each other.

“We flip roles (guys cheering and girls playing), so it’s fun seeing the guys cheer us on,” said Amico. “With the whole week, our grade realized that we had a common goal of winning everything, and half of us are artistic, half are athletic, so it’s an understood thing that one half works on decorations and one half work on powderpuff and we come together in the end and are proud of each other. It engaged our entire class when we might not typically all talk to each other, so that’s something special.”
