Pictures: Eve Grantiz Covenant Warrior athletics is a major part of what connects the student body with each other and allows us to grow as servants in Christ. From football games with fun themes or close soccer games that go down to the wire in conference play- there is always something going on to bring Covenant together. But there is a standard to which these student-athletes must live up to. There goal is to be a Christ-like example both on and off the field. Working on balancing schoolwork and sports is tough, but it allows them to grow as people and teaches them life skills for the future. All the athletes I talked with had the collective trait that Covenant Athletics is challenging and rewarding all in one. Warrior Athletics prepares you for life beyond Covenant on another level compared to other schools. It helped them grow as people and build friendships that benefited them during their time here and beyond.
