You are cordially invited to celebrate NYT bestselling author Karen White’s brand new launch of The House on Prytania “New Orleans style” on the beautiful grounds of the McRitchie-Hollis House Museum.

Karen will discuss her inspiration and the ghostly intrigue of her newest novel set in the Big Easy (She was a graduate of Tulane University!), followed by a booksigning and refreshments including the Crescent City’s famous beignets and homemade Tassies. Afterwards enjoy a free tour of the museum’s wonderful exhibits showcasing State Representative Lynn Smith’s legendary hat collection and featuring vintage Spring wardrobe pieces from the Newnan Coweta Historical Society’s collection.

Hosted by the Newnan Carnegie Library Foundation, this event is free and books will be available for purchase on site. What better way to spend a morning with family and friends – than enjoying Karen’s lively talk, a museum tour, New Orleans treats and a great summer read!

The McRitchie-Hollis Museum is located at 74 Jackson St. in historic downtown Newnan. Follow signs to parking in rear. For further information visit (our info) or contact the Museum at 770.251.0207. Reservations encouraged (not mandatory) through Eventbrite.com
