Hospice Design in a Chinese Urban Context

This research focuses on end-of-life care for elderly people in a Chinese urban context. By adopting hospice as an architectural approach, I study and attempt to address the problems that elderly people, as well as their family members, experience in the palliative care process. The project’s goal is to devise ways of providing hospice patients with dignity and quality of life in the end stages of their lives.
